Lovely self catering apartment with stunning views over to Skye. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel and the restaurant food was excellent.

The room was comfortable. The staff were courteous and welcoming. It was disappointing that there wasn’t a cooked breakfast on offer but understandable as the refurbishment is ongoing.

Lovely house, very well located for day trips on the ferries from Mallaig and Arisaig.

Area of Harrapool was lovely and quiet. There was a co-op near by which was great being in a cabin with cooking facilities. The market close by was nice to visit for little gifts to bring home from local makers. The cabins themselves were immaculate and couldn’t fault the staff that we had interactions ...

We loved the coziness of this property. Check-in was self managed with a lock box. The view was amazing!

Nice little village
Overpriced. Small room. Poor DIY in the room. The room did smell of someone been sick in it. Shower was set for only one temperature and was cold. The window had a gap and the wind was all night. This is not a quite hotel, right next to railway.
We spent a lot of time watching the comings and goings of the ferries, fishing boats and various other vessels. We also went on a couple of Wildlife cruises, saw some seals, cormorants and dolphins. It is a pretty, bustling port/harbour.
Mallaig is a lovely village with good restaurants and bars. There are good links with the ferries to Skye and the small isles. Great walks in the area as well.
Dull place on wet day
Nice small town , all amenities within walking distance , ideal for stop over before travelling over to isle of skye
