“The colour scheme is a bit of a shock at first but it does grow on you. The kitchen is well appointed but unfortunately no microwave. Because the kitchen/dining area/ lounge are all in one room it is not that easy to relax. The bedroom is up a steep set of stairs and my husband who is quite tall , did have to be extra vigilant getting out of bed to stop himself banging his head on the roof! The bed was very comfortable. A nice cottage .”

“It was a wonderful day. The hosting family are fantastic. The house is incredibly located to all the natural visitation sites. I woke up one morning and walked down to the Glenfinnan viaduct approximately 1/2 mile do it first light and the bridge belongs to you and the red stag that showed up as I was approaching the bridge two of them actually the hotel next to the home has an amazing catering staff book a reservation. “Loved our stay! Super clean, location was close to everything, cows were sweet, and there’s a gorgeous view of Ben Nevis and the surrounding mountains. We got some of our best sleep tucked in the loft! A hot plate and/or air fryer would be a nice future addition as the microwave isn’t super ideal for cooking all things but we made it work just fine!”

“Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome……
