The first room I was given did not have working toilet, while the second, given as a replacement, had shower cabin doors falling apart when you want to close them before using shower. Otherwise it was OK. The place itself is an old German-style tavern with a bar and a a restaurant with beautiful cobbled garden under old trees. “I booked this hotel from expedia but cannot check in when i arrive at around 8pm. The staff told me there is no booking record and all triple rooms were sold already. I used nearly 45 mins to explain & explain,showed my booking confirmation, the staff is willing to help but we checked and checked, again and again, and finally solved after a call made by the staff to expedia. I got a room finally but missed my dinner time. Nothing to eat this night. The room is okay. ”

“I recently stayed at this property and overall I really enjoyed my stay. The place was comfortable and I would definitely come back again. However, there were a few issues that need attention. The main problem was the lack of proper kitchen equipment. There were not enough pots and pans provided, which made it difficult to cook meals during the stay. Additionally, the frying pan that was available did not match the hob, so it could not be used properly. This was quite inconvenient and limited……

“Good hotel as the name says it. The rooms are small and there is nothing inside the room (like kettle, coffee machine, fridge, or bottle of water) if one looks for such complimentary services. There is a garage underneath the hotel. Restaurants and markets nearby.”

“Durch hohe Preise vom Flughafen weggetrieben war das Hotel eine idyllische Überraschung. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr einfach gehalten aber sehr sauber. Das indische Restaurant mischt auf interessante Weise die historische Mittelalter-Burg-Location mit der Globalisierung von heute. Das Essen war fantastisch. ”

“Location, unparalleled! The room was clean and comfortable, even with a small balcony where we shared wine and cheese after a 6 mile walking day. Staff accommodating, we arrived early by train and by luck our room was ready. As is always the case in these older guest houses the layout is not cookie cutter. We actually had a small dining table and chairs, small fridge (not sure all rooms do), and a comfortable bath. The town was lovely / I am so glad we came.”
