Amazing view, lovely refurbished bedrooms and bathrooms. Food varied and lots of choice for both breakfast and dinner. Beautiful location, quiet but close to everything. Only small criticism is the lifts. There are only two for the whole building and each lift only holds 4 people max. The doors don’t seem to have sensors and close harshly as soon as you step in. The door caught my arm on one occasion and the same thing happened to another guest while we were in the lift. Other than that it was a perfect stay and would definitely go there again

I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again. It’s not like a 4-star hotel. They didn’t even have shampoo, conditioner or any other stuff, just soap, only one large pillow instead of two, the dinner was only until 9pm, towels for the pool were given only 3 times a week! Anyways, not relax-oriented, just a place to stay.

Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar
This hotel is not worth the money. We had a bad stay with them as they renovated the rooms, their new AC wasn’t working the first day, the warm water didn’t work the next day and the receptionist couldn’t help us at first, without their boss present. The next day we switched rooms with the promise of a working AC, which was correct at first, but it was really on and off, sometimes it worked and sometimes not. The next day the AC in the new room began to drip water and the hotels solution was to put a towel to stop the dripping. During our 4 day stay the problem with the AC wasn’t completely fixed and our stay was not nearly as good as we was expecting. We will never book this hotel again. Mostly the people at the hotel is older Germans coming from a charter. The breakfast is served inside and the pool mattress is really dirty and felt pretty disgusting.

Wir hatten mehrere Anliegen. Uns wurde immer sofort unverzüglich an der Rezeption weitergeholfen. Dies wollte ich als sehr positiv hervorheben. ABER: was ich erwähnen muss. Wir konnten keinen Tag länger als halb 8 Uhr schlafen. Die Zimmer sind absolut hellhörig. Die Damen, die die Zimmer reinigen nahmen null Rücksicht auf andere Zimmer. Lautes Möbel herumgerücke. Gefühlt wurden den ganzen Tag im ganzen Hotel Möbel herumgerückt. Wischmopps wurden gegen die Wände gehauen. Radio am Fernseher wurde angemacht. Dies schlägt dann auch sehr schnell aufs Gemüt. Die Betten und Matratzen waren für ein 4 Sterne Hotel auch nichts. Beim Umdrehen hatte man Angst es kracht gleich zusammen.

Dreadful experience.
Dreadful hotel and terrible customer service. Firstly a fire hazard in the room, the locks on the doors on the rooms malfunction as they are faulty and can lock you in the room. We were locked in twice and no one answered from reception. Other guests had to help. Wouldn’t move room as they were fully booked. Then a stage was set up outside the hotel with huge speakers and had a festival until 5am. Hotel wouldn’t do anything or refund the night stay for no sleep or move our room. Told basically it’s tough luck. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in and will never return.

Det er utroligt dårligt intertanment, hvis ikke det kan være bedre så stop det. Servicen i poolbaren var ikke høj, baren lukkede allerede kl 15.30 Maden var gennemsnitligt og englændernes madvaner er til at kaste op over men nok svært at gøre noget ved. Camp de Mare er en dejligt roligt plet på Majorca

Gute Lage, sehr auf den englischen Gast ausgelegt.
Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und bietet direkten Strandzugang und tolle Ausblicke. Das Ambiente des Hotels ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wirkt aber gepflegt. Die Halbpension war preiswert und die Auswahl durchaus groß. Alles auf den britischen Gast ausgerichtet und qualitativ nicht unser Geschmack/Anspruch. Aber was will man heute bei den gestiegenen Einkaufspreisen erwarten - irgendwie müssen Hotels ja auch zurecht kommen. Mühe haben sie sich gegeben.

Gute Erholung, alles auf einem Fleck
Das Hotel ist gut gepflegt und der Service sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist außerordentlich, das Meer direkt vor der Tür. Wassersportgeräte und Tauchlehrgänge werden angeboten. Restaurants, Supermärkte und kleinere Geschäfte sind in der Nähe. Allerdings ist auch die hauseigene Küche sehr gut und variantenreich. Das Haus ist sauber, Defekte werden meist kurzfristig behoben. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die abendliche Musikveranstaltung bis 23:00 Uhr, die viele Gäste kritisiert haben.

Great location on the beach in Camp de Mar. Comfortable room. Very good breakfast with made-to-order omelettes and waffles etc. Large pool. Great views from the room. Large car park a short walk away.

This has to be the best location for Camp De Mar. Sea view from the room is exceptional. Pro: Very good measure taken against covid. Plenty of hand sanitizers in common area. Installing hand sanitizers just infront of the lift is a great idea. Location is the best for Camp de Mar. Restaurant foods and Staffs are amazing. Variety of food for dinner and breakfast. Plenty of Gluten free and vegetarian options. Menu for dinner is very well planned and varies everynight. Kudos to the chefs. Chef Alex is always present during dinner and canstantly replenishing food. He is cordial and had everything under perfect control. Cooking and frying eggs,fish and meat on the spot in front of guests is a lovely touch to the meals. All the waiting staffs are very hard working, cordial and constantly trying to please you during meals. Its a rare team to find. Chefs and Restaurant stafs are a gem for any Restaurant. Oscar from the Restaurant particularly. Beach towles are provided from reception. Taxi stop just infront of the hotel as well as Covid test centre,supermerket and a farmacy. Cleaning is fine. Our room has been cleaned everyday. Thanks to the house keeping team Cons Room isolation. No sound proofing at all. No amenities,no tea-coffee provided. You get a water boiler and two tea cups No iron/ironing board. You have to go to a irioning room on the first floor to iron. Soap dispenser in the shower is a disaster.

Nos gustó el lugar, No nos gustó k es un hotel en exclusivo para los Ingleses, me refiero, horarios sobre todo cena, max asta las 21 horas, actividades, actuaciones, siempre-siempre, en ese idioma, camareros, cocineros, todo el personal de entrada inglés, en más de 4 o 6 meses no habían hablado en Español, eso sí mucha educación, amabilidad por parte de todos,,

Hotel destinado a extranjeros
Un hotel destinado al 100% para extranjeros. Es una pena el llegar con las gas de pasar unos días de tus vacaciones y no poder sentirte bien, los horarios son para ellos, ejemplo la cena de 18 a 21, la piscina puedes estar como máximo hasta las 18 horas, y lo más fuerte es que a las 17y15 empiezan a recojer las tumbonas, ya te hacen sentir incomodo, en todo lo que se hace de eventos, mañana, tarde y noche, sólo hablan en inglés, no se molestan si hay algún español. En definitiva si eres extranjero si te lo recomiendo pero si eres español ni te lo plantees.

Hola David, muchas gracias por dedicar un poco de tu tiempo a escribir un comentario sobre tus vacaciones. Estamos muy tristes de leer que no habéis disfrutado, ya que todo el personal trabaja muy duro para satisfacer a todos los clientes. El hotel tiene una ocupación 99% Britanica y ellos ponen la animación. El horario del socorrista es hasta las 6 y después se puede estar . Sobre las 5 empezamos a recoger la terraza y solo se recogen las tumbonas vacías y nunca pedimos a los clientes que se marchen. Saludos Jose
