Cozy Cottage on the Trent River.

"I went home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after just two nights at this cozy cottage.The cottage is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. With two covered decks overlooking the river, there was a choice of beautiful spots to enjoy coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening (both outdoor areas protected from sun & rain!) There is a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and two "rolling" picnic tables for outdoor meals or games. The kitchen although small, is well stocked with everything you need. The hosts left us a much-appreciated gift of local corn and were attentive to all questions asked. We made use of the kayaks and explored the Trent River in which we also swam and were quite surprised by how clear and warm the water was. The hosts provide all sorts of games & activities for both indoor and outdoor entertainment: Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Card games, puzzles...Volleyball, badminton, croquet, water toys...the list goes on! This place is almost perfect!!"

"Everyone had a wonderful time. All the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of linens and towels provided. The kitchen had every thing that was needed. The dock down at the water was lovely. No complaints from our family! Would for sure come back another time"

"The cabin and the environment was charming, completely disconnected and the neighbors are birds and fireflies !Davidson was super welcoming, invited us to take fresh eggs from the coop and was responsive. We really enjoyed our stay."

"If you are looking for a cottage to recharge your batteries, this is the one! Coffees on the dock in the morning, drinks on the deck in the evening as the sun sets and the loons dive for their dinner, this is the quintessential Canadian cottage. Spotless with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, this cottage has it all. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions, the neighbors were warm and welcoming making this a memory we will treasure. We will definitely return."
