The Fleming suite entrance was right next to the communal front door which you could hear when opened. Our room would have benefitted with a door chain which was missing or a bolt to make the property feel more secure. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again in future. 」

「Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!」

"We happened to stay during a heatwave. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan. The room was spacious but really needs an update. The corners of the bed and the duvet cover were torn. The wallpaper was also peeling. The bathroom renovation was acceptable. Breakfast was in buffet style but the refills were too slow—there was nothing left to eat and all the juices ran out."
