Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club #34

If you want to feel like you are staying in a 5 star hotel, this unit is for you. This 2 bedroom has been completely renovated. The kitchen has all new appliances, dark hardwood cabinetry, beautiful marble counters and a stone tiled floor. This condo also features a gas range. The bathrooms shine with their details. The shower stalls are decorated with tile mosaics, while the rest of the bathroom has stone tiled flooring, and marble counters.

Maximum Occupancy: This unit can accommodate a total of 6 people.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two bunk beds, queens on bottom and twins on top.
No sofa sleeper is available.

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials! For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace! The living room has a 32" TV and a DVD/VCR player. This unit has all new carpets throughout with all dark wood doors, crown and floor molding.

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV!

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (approx. ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (approx. 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.

Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Perfect for canyon lodge!

My family of 5 (3 children ages 5-10) had a wonderful stay! It was a quick easy 5 minute walk to canyon lodge where we skied. We took the gondola to the village from there so we never needed to drive the whole trip. The kids loved the bunk room. Kitchen had everything we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. Great convenient place to stay!

Great Location by Canyon Lodge

The location was Great! The bed configuration with a King, 2 Queens and 2 twins (2 bunk beds) was perfect for our group of 5. Downside: Listing was very specific about only having 1 blanket per be. This is fine, except the blanket & top sheet on the king bed was for a twin! The condo was comfortable and decorated nicely. The kitchen ware could be updated & restocked. The only glasses were stemless wine glasses & coffee mugs. The knives were very dull. Pepper in the cupboard but no salt. (usually those basics are expected). There was plenty of bakeware, bowls, and cooking utensils, a plus. Overall the condo was clean, except the housekeepers missed some items left behind: water bottle in closet, shirt barely under the bed, a towel on the back of the door and a towel in the corner of the living room. Also, they did not leave us any kitchen trash bags or kitchen towels. We had to go to the office to get them. We were able to walk to Canyon Lodge for snowboarding/skiing or just to ride the gondola to the village. We have stayed at the Ski & Racquet Club several times and recomend it!

Great stay close to Canyon Lodge

I would recommend this condo. It is a short walk to Canyon Lodge and made snowboarding ops efficient. Easy access to bus line and gondola to The Village if needed. The condo was a good size for my friends with all of our gear. The bed in the master bedroom is VERY soft and I had a difficult time sleeping because of that. The 2 full bathrooms were helpful with us having 4 people. Hot tubs were great. The complex was quiet and parking was not an issue during the week.

Great location but place was a little beat

Third time we’ve stayed at Mammoth Ski and Racquet. First time in this unit. Can’t beat how close you are to Canyon Lodge, this unit was just old. Not sure how often the owners go there. No dresser or storage in master. Closet was full of bags of sheets. Dishwasher was broke. Circuit breaker kept tripping. No real glass wear. Coffee cups, a sleeve of Solo cups and 1 wine glass & rocks glass that we’re probably taken by a previous renter from a bar. We’d definitely go back to the property, love MSRC, but would stay clear of this unit unless it was our only choice

Lacking in amenities and COLD

The kitchen and bathrooms were remodeled very nicely. There is ONE wine glass...? Seriously- one! There is a 20" TV in the main living room that didn't work. The management went out the next day and bought a Universal remote to get it working but then it didn't get any major channels so we couldn't watch the Super Bowl there. The 24" TV in the bunk room has 6 NON working remotes and management could not get it to work at all. There is NO heat in the downstairs hallway or bathroom. The master bed sags (needs to be replaced) The living room couch lacks any seat support - seen better days. The jacuzzi was COLD at 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon because they did "maintenance' and the water replaced on a busy weekend...why? Was told it should be warm about 6 PM!!

Great Place

We just stayed here during our kids ski week. The place was perfect for the 4 of us. My kids loved that there were two bunk beds so they didn’t have to fight over who got the top bunk. It was clean and close to the canyon lodge. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall good condo but needs to address a few things

Overall, we had a good stay in this condo and would recommend it. Great location (near Canyon Lodge) and sufficiently updated (kitchen, bathrooms, furniture). Minutes to the center of town. One main things to address: the railings for bunk beds were broken so the top bunks were unusable. Need to know that if you have a larger party. Since they were stowed in the closet (along with carpet remnants which took up the full closet), this was likely known.

Clean unit

Unit was very clean, particularly the bathrooms, which we appreciated. Very close to Canyon and the Village. One thing to note: there is another unit directly above this one, and it could get very loud at times, especially when the upstairs neighbors were walking around their unit.
