Your pets are welcome in MSRC unit 38!

Completely Remodeled Unit: Brand new kitchen, bathrooms, wood flooring, carpet, windows, doors, molding, recessed lighting, and paint throughout.

Views: This is one of the rare properties in Mammoth that has views of Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (you can actually see skiers coming down the mountain) and the south facing windows provide lots of light and sunshine.

Kitchen: The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances, beautiful shaker style cabinets, and quartz counter tops.

Living/Dining Room : The living/dining room is tastefully decorated with large dining table for six, leather couch, recessed lighting, smart TV, and wood floors.

Bathrooms: Both bathrooms are remodeled with new vanities, quartz countertops, tile on floor and tub surround, tubs, and fixtures.

Maximum Occupancy: This unit can sleep 6 guests.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a queen sleigh bed, dresser, a flat screen TV, and a ceiling fan. The loft has a queen bed, a set of bunk beds, dresser, a smart TV, and a ceiling fan.

Location: Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club is within walking distance to Canyon Lodge and is one of a very few complexes in the town that hosts a ski back trail that is groomed and maintained by the Mountain. Also, mountain bikers will find easy access to Uptown and Downtown. MSRC is a great location!

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, ice-maker, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials. For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace and enjoy free WiFi.

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV! Unit 38 is close to the office and amenities.

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (apprx ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (apprx 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.

Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Great Location But…

The ice maker was broken and no ice trays provided, no coffee filters for the coffee maker, huge spider web with dead bugs on the inside of the window. Unit was sparse and tired.

Fabulous

We loved this location. Definitely bring extra blankets as instructed, but it's nice and warm even if you don't. All appliances worked great! Everything was clean. We would definitely stay again! Thanks!

Quick summer trip to Mammoth

Second time this year. Family visiting from east coast, we headed down for a long weekend. Checkin was smooth, room clean and in order. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Hosts were very responsive, we picked up extra supplies (toilet paper and paper towels) at the office. Great facility, great location for all adventures in the area, we will most definitely be back.

A nice getaway

This was my second time staying at the property with my spouse and our golden retriever. Before my arrival, I received instructions on the check-in process. We arrived at the property right before the office closed, and I was handed our keys. We had an assigned garage parking space. The unit is upstairs and at the time we checked in it seemed we were the only people in the building. We visited from July 19th - July 24th for fishing at the various lakes. Inside the property was clean and welcoming. The view from the deck is my favorite place. The kitchen is spacious and provided the cooking tools we needed for our meals. The only issue I had with the kitchen was the dishwasher was full of dishes from the previous guest. As instructed we did bring our own coffee and filters since that is not provided. We brought extra paper towels knowing we would be using a lot. The bedroom was nice and we had a good breeze with the windows open. Both bathrooms had a good amount of towels and there were little shampoo and hand soaps that were provided. The only item not provided was a hair dryer, but I brought my own so it was not a problem. We did bring extra towels from home knowing we were going to be out and about at the various lakes. The location is within walking distance down to the Village. We were a short drive to Lake Mary and the Twin Lakes. Perfect for us as we like to come during fishing season. We will certainly stay at this property again.

Comfortable Stay

What a relaxing and comfortable stay. I loved skiing in summer. Location is close to the Village and Mammoth Mountain. We were able to venture out and do some fishing too at Crowley and June Lake. If you like to cook the kitchen was well stocked. I would recommend bringing storage containers to store your left overs in.

All was good

The door from the garage to the inside hall was busted. That was the only matter and it had nothing to do with the condo we rented but getting in and out from the car with ski stuff and the busted door was an irritation. Thank you for a clean, nice condo.

Epic Snow Year, Epic Skiing, Ideal Location!

Family of 4 plus one medium sized dog. Despite damaging, heavy snows this season, the complex and facilities were well maintained. Snow clearing and removal are expensive and difficult but the Mammoth Racquet and Ski Club had it all taken care of. Hot tub and sauna areas great condition, perfect for a soak after skiing all day. Our Unit was exactly as advertised. Clean, everything worked, kitchen fully stocked and more than adequate. Parking-we had an oversized truck (Ram 2500 with ladder rack) that wouldn’t fit into the garage but we found adjacent outside parking in the complex that was provided. Location- this is the best aspect of this complex. We found a traverse near the tennis courts where we could put our skis on and ski over to the Canyon lifts and lodge. Minimal walking. Then the ski back trail took us back right next to our building. Very convenient, little need for the car. Village gondola and shuttle all right there too for travel into town. Overall really great experience we will be back again!

Top notch

Fantastic property, super comfortable, clean, well furnished, everything worked. Nothing to complain about. Some of the office staff could have been a little be friendlier. It was sort of hit and miss. If you have a long truck and can't fit in the garage, the parking is not very good. There are some spots that are even dangerous to park if it is icy so be careful. Also, just to give feedback. The place was actually nicer than expected once we got there. The website pictures where actually not as good as how we found the stay.

Ideal location and very comfortable

This condo is really very well located. My daughter was able to ski back from Mammoth mountain right to the back of the property. Also, I walked over to see her at noon and it was a very short 9 minute walk to Canyon Lodge for me. The main issues we had was that the oven was not cleaned by the cleaning crew and we left a message with the office and no one responded to our call - also, the kettle had a hole in it so the water spilled out when I filled it. Internet is pretty spotty in the evenings when everyone comes back from skiing - no problem at all during the day. We had to reset the router and the smart TV a few times in order to get internet. Also, hot water became an issue one evening also around the time everyone comes back from skiing. We lost hot water in the middle of a shower. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and the plus that it's pet friendly so we were able to bring our dogs with us. There are plenty of beds too if you have more people - we were only two of us and we each had a room which was terrific. Rooms and beds are comfortable but we were glad we brought extra blankets.

Great Location

The location is the best part. The property was simple and efficient, with no extra frills. Kitchen supplies were sparse, but just enough. They did not supply enough TP, paper towels, dish soap... for the length of the stay. So if you stay more than 2 days plan to bring your own.

We had a fantastic weekend with family at this property. Great location. There are two things that could have been improved. We communicated with the property management and we’re told we had two parking spots but come to find out there was only one. The hot water did not stay hot for more than one person to shower without waiting over an hour between showers. Besides these two criticisms we thoroughly enjoyed the property end our time there and would come back!

Very nice condo

We enjoyed our stay here at this property. The unit is very nice, clean, and cozy. I like that one parking spot is directly under the unit so it’s covered and gated. The unit also heated nicely despite the very cold temperatures during our stay. Just set the thermostat to your desired temp and the fireplace can heat the entire place up. We are a family of 5. We all stayed in the loft during our stay because the first floor fireplace made the loft nice and toasty. I just wish the property manager plowed the driveway because everywhere else streets are plowed, but the driveway was covered with slush and ice. Regardless, we had a great time so we will definitely stay here again.

Great location for skiing but not ski in/ski out

Unit #38 was well maintained and we had a very nice stay. This unit can hold 6 people, possibly more. The one closed bedroom has a king and the 2nd bedroom/loft has a queen and twin bunks. The kitchen and family room is great and open. Heater worked very well. One garage space which is really tight but fits normal sized cars. You can ski back to complex via the “Ski-Back Trail” but you have to ski down along the tennis court and then walk around 200 meters to the entrance to unit D. Skiing out is not possible and you should walk down along the wood staircase from an adjacent complex that will put you at the foot of Canyon Blvd just next to Austria Hof. Our kids (7 yo, and 9 yo twins) did great, loaded up at Chair 7 then came down to hook up w Canyon lift to access the whole mountain. Enjoy!!

Awesome Location

Perfect space to stay for mountain biking- rode right down to the village to hop on the shuttle and at the end of the day, hopped on the road at the end of the trail for a super short pedal back here. I would happily stay again!

Yearly MTB family trip.

The property is average. It is very small, the pictures are deceiving. The kitchen and bathrooms have been redone. This unit is outfitted like a cheap rental. All beds are uncomfortable, sheets didn’t fit beds and came off every night. TV’s are small and have poor pictures due to cable system used. Upon arrival we found dirty utensils in the drawer. The kitchen is outfitted basic items. Things need to be updated. Utensils are cheap. I have rented numerous condos and homes in Mammoth over the last 40 years and understand each unit has it’s differences. Some better than others. This unit is not the quality it should be for the rate being charged.

Great home base for our Summer vacay to Mammoth

This unit was a great place to call home base as we spent 5 days of Summer fun hiking, fishing, exploring, taking in the beauty of the Eastern Sierras. Its very clean, up to date, and a great location. We like being slightly outside of the village, as it's less busy and quieter. I give this unit a 10/10... BUT want to share some info so others can prepare better than we did. This unit sleeps 6 and they only provide 6 pillows total. It sounds okay, and may be fine for some people... But everyone in my family is accustomed to having 2 pillows per person. So, if you also require more than 1 pillow, bring extra with you! The kitchen has utensils and plates/bowls... But there is no foil, saran wrap, or non-stick cooking spray. Again, not their responsibility, but it was something most other VRBO's we have stayed at provide... So make sure you bring your own. We loved this unit and highly recommend it to others!

Overall good experience. The water heater was the only issue as it didn’t allow for me and my spouse to take separate showers back to back, so I had to wait 30 minutes or so before I could take a shower.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful condo that was perfect getaway for my spouse, our dog and I. We left our two kids at home this time but there is plenty of room to include them the next time. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook our meals. The bathrooms were remodeled and included shampoo, conditioner and soap. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the deck looking at the trees and mountainside. We would stay here again.
