Summary:

The Summit is the perfect Mammoth vacation destination for any family or friends wanting to be close to the mountain.



The Space:

The Summit is conveniently located right next to the Eagle Lodge for a quick ride on the gondola. Summertime activities are also close by. Downtown, hiking/biking trails, and the Snowcreek golf course are all a short drive or Uber away. The free green line shuttle, also stops at the Eagle Lodge parking lot and travels to the Village and back to the Eagle Lodge. Spend your days skiing and snowboarding down the slopes.



The inside has modern touches giving an updated condo atmosphere. The living room has seating options placed in front of a gorgeous wood burning fireplace, mounted TV, and DVD player. Get cozy with a movie and light the fireplace. From here, you can access the balcony for the crisp mountain air. The balcony provides mountain views and is a great spot to store wood for the fireplace.



A gourmet kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker, slow cooker, blender, toaster, wine opener, pots, pans and more. Enjoy delicious homemade meals in the comfort of your own home. There are 6 seats on the dining table and 3 seats on the breakfast bar.



Two bedrooms are on the main level. The master bedroom is furnished with a King bed. The guest bedroom down the hall has a Queen bed. The bonus loft room has a Twin over Full bunk bed, great for the kids.



There is 1 underground parking space, shared laundry facilities, an exercise room, and a sauna. The summer the BBQ stations, tennis courts, hot tubs, and swimming pools are only open during the summer. Some of the condo amenities like the hot tub will not be available due to COVID.



Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts.

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. This is a great condo for a family and super close to the slopes. My 3 and 5 year old easily walked to and from eagle lodge each day. I read from other reviews that the beds were uncomfortable, but we were very happy with firm beds! Communication was excellent and they updated the lock from other reviews so that it’s keyless. The high ceilings make it roomy, and we enjoyed the board games they had. The carpets are a little dated but honestly who cares. Put yourself in the owner’s shoes! It sure helps with keeping everything quiet! We never heard any people partying, and we were there for New Years. We spent 6 nights and couldn’t have asked for anything better! Would definitely book it again!

Nice place. Clean. but all the beds are rock hard and had 3 grown men trying to be the one to sleep on the couch. Also dont believe it listen that its up stairs and you only get 1 parking spot.

We've stayed in dozens of local units. So our expectations for a stay are realistic while based on a lot of experience. As a whole the unit is nice. But it has a lot of maintenance issues that need addressing. We provided a short list at checkin, and a detailed list at checkout. They attempted to address 2 issues and left the others for later.From the past reviews, many of these have been noted before and never addressed by the managing company.While we enjoyed our stay here, the likelihood of renting this unit again is very low.Issues included:1) Horrible beds. Master is hardest mattress slept on in 25 years of hotel and condo rentals. 2nd bedroom occupants ended up on the couch due to hard mattress.2) Lamps need work. Electrical short in the living room. Lamp falling apart in the master. 3) Inadequate cookware. Only 1 small pot and 2-3 frying pans to cook for 6 people. 4) Throw rugs need replacing. Edges are rolled and don't stay down so the rugs travel and bunch. Several family members tripped. 5) Dishwasher leaks water on floor6) Slow shower / tub drains7) Dining chairs are wobbly and a couple are about to fall apart.8) Loose door pulls and jacket hooks throughout When deferred maintenance starts affecting sleep (bed quality) and safety (shorting lights and floor rugs) then it’s a deal breaker for us. While management was polite, responses felt generic and insincere. I don't expect these issues to be a priority or actually be addressed.

Spring Trip to Mammoth

This apartment was all around very good and I'd stay here again. Almost as close as you can get to Eagle lodge (unfortaunely Eagle was closed for the season when we were there ). The downstairs master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom that can be closed off from the rest of the living space - very nice if you are a couple staying with other friends. One complaint is the hot tub was not very clean, nor as hot as ideal, and we didn't see any place to adjust the temperature. The garbage disposal also did not work

5 STAR EAGLE!

This property is so conveniently located right next to the Eagle Lodge you just suite up walk right to the lift! This particular suite has plenty of room and is listed as having only 2 bedrooms however there is a loft with bunk beds so its like having 3. We had the best of times here, so peaceful and just amazing. If anything bring your own nonstick pan but besides that everything else is really well stocked. There are stairs from the parking garage however your right next to EAGLE! Its was a win for us!

Weather kept us away Inflexible Host

A big storm came into Mammoth so we didn't make the trip up. I reached out to the host to see if we could reschedule our reservation to another available weekend, but the host wouldn't allow it. In my experience, most hosts are willing to work with you when bigs storms come in, but this host would not. Know that if you book here, you are taking a big risk because they will not work with you at all if you are beyond the cancelation period. Another really annoying thing is we were still charged about 300 for cleaning and damage waiver fees. I reached out to see if we could get a partial refund for these fees since we never checked in. They have totally blown me off. I've checked in 3 times in the last 8 days and the host keeps replying with "We need more time to review your request."Again, we never checked in, but the check-in process requires you to drive to a separate office to pick up the key, before you can get into the condo. This is an annoying extra step that most condos don't still do.

Property definitely needs some upgrades the carpet smells. The smell from the cleaning supplies used was very strong and lasted for several days The check out process was not great.. they asked us to let them know if we needed a let check out .. by 4 pm the day before I promptly responded and said we would need 1 hour longer .. to which they told us it was not available.. if that was the case then why even ask .. we did what you asked and they were rude and adamant that they could not honor it.. knowing that check in is not until 4 pm ..

Walk to Eagle, plenty of space

We stayed here as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 school age kids) to ski. Property had plenty of space for us, both for sleeping and for eating/relaxing. Lots of hooks for hanging ski clothes, warm heaters and wood stove, fans in some of the rooms, decently stocked kitchen. Biggest suggestion is to upgrade the living room TV to a smart tv. Kids had to crowd onto the master bed to watch movies on Netflix on the master TV. Carpet is a bit dirty in some areas but that’s pretty standard for ski cabins. LOVED being able to walk to Eagle to ski each day. Would return if possible for future dates.

Great location, needs a deep clean

Can’t beat being walking distance from Eagle; however, this place desperately needs a deep clean. The sheets, towels, and kitchenware was clean but the carpet was filthy (carpet is always hard in the mountains) and it looked like none of the baseboards or walls had ever been wiped down. The beds definitely need to be replaced, as some were hard or lumpy. The check-in/check-out process was also very inconvenient with having to go to Grand Welcome’s main office to pick up and drop of the key. I had also received an email from a third party hours before check-in requiring photos of my license and additional details. After sending all my info in fear that I wouldn’t be allowed to check-in, Grand Welcome told me to disregard the identity verification email.

Parking is an issue

The property is a 2-3 minute walk from the Eagle lodge. Unit was very clean. The pots and pans were rusted and unusable, we had to go to Vons and buy our own. There is only one parking spot provided and there is absolutely no other parking around. How do you expect 7 people with gear to have only one car? They told us they have a guest parking area which is first come first serve but after parking there, we got warning stickers on our windows saying if we don’t move our cars by noon, the cars will be towed for parking without a permit. Contacted the office and was told we need to move because residents need to park.

Great location, but bring your supplies.

Great location, comfortable and clean accommodations. Unless you plan to only eat out, be advised there are no cleaning supplies so bring your own sponge, soap, paper towels etc. And the kitchen pans are in bad shape. Property manager could help by mentioning things to bring in the listing.

Summit Condo near Eagle Lodge

Great location and lot’s of room for our family. Could easily be a 5 star rental, except for the door lock (only one key provided in a lockbox by the rental company). Beds and table need some upgrades and maintenance, other very spacious for our family of five.

Terrible beds, dirty carpet and noisy

The mattresses on ALL the beds need to be replaced as does the carpet. The downstairs neighbor left his dog in the unit and the dog barks ALL day (and night if the owner isn't there). The management company said there was 'nothing they could do' about the situation as the unit downstairs is privately owned and not part of their management contract. Great location and otherwise a good unit at a very fair price.

Terrible Beds

Great location. Good layout. But every bed has horrible old mattresses. In my opinion, you cannot have a five star unit without good bedding and at minimum decent mattresses. This unit has neither. The kitchen does not have the basics, so bring everything. I’m talking no salt, no coffe filters, etc.

The property is well laid out and comfortable. It needs new carpet and the upstairs toilet needs a flapper valve. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope they fix up the place a bit and we'll return.

Great condo, great location

Beautiful condo, would definitely stay here again. The only hiccup was the key was not in the lock box. We had to wait for the person to get there. We had a night arrival in the snow, luckily the nearby bar was open. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils. Great times!

Good Location by Eagle Lodge

This is a beautiful, bright condo in a great location if you are enjoying the mountain in the winter. It's not ski in/out but across from the parking lot and an easy walk.
