「We loved the location of this cozy cottage in Manapouri. We were able to walk into the village easily and grab dinner and it was a short drive to Te Anau. The owners provided great information about the local area and hikes and had lots of great books about the area. We definitely felt like a local staying here and it was a perfect getaway spot. (We especially loved listening to the melodic birds while sitting on the patio.) 」

「This place is very minimalist. It had enough room for all of us with 3 bedrooms and a sleep out. The sleep out was half the garage and had an ensuite. It was sufficient but small. Not really enough plates for the amount of people that can stay. The glasses were in need of a bit of cleaning as well. It needs a little attention. 」

「The house was spacious and very well supplied with almost anything you could need, with new appliances and an ice maker, a washer, bathtub and a lovely yard and clothesline! We appreciated the delicious coffee and sauces, spices and snacks!
It was clean and nicely decorated! We found the pillows a little firm, and maybe some variety would be nice. Definitely add a blow dryer to your supplies for future guests! We couldn’t figure out how to get the oven to work, so perhaps some instructions...
