“We really enjoyed our stay at the Hole in the Ground - a fun and unique place - it's a great set up and excellent location to explore Cambridge and Hobbiton! We especially loved the friendly cat and inquisitive chickens!”

“Had a great weekend in this tiny home. It's really well appointed and modern. Plenty of how water and a great shower. It was really cold while we were there, but had a heat pump so we were cozy. Takeaway and pub a short drive away in Tamahere. It was an easy short flat walk to the Te Awa River path which allowed us to walk to Hamilton Gardens in around 1 hour on beautiful boardwalks along the Waikato river. “Tea towel, although clean was badly stained and should be replaced”

“This was such a lovely stay. My family and I booked the place for a night but when we arrived and saw how beautiful it was, we had to extend for another night. They have an amazing collection of games and books to keep you occupied. And their music taste is amazing! It was calm, peaceful, and infinitely cozy. The hosts are wonderful and kind and generous. The location is beautiful and near the Karangahake gorge.”

“No lounge (only a kitchenette/dining area) and an average bathroom. Odd layout with the second bedroom off the first. Nice and quiet, very handy, but probably not tot eh standard of newer facilities in Cambridge”
