I had such a lovely and relaxing stay at Alila Manggis. It’s one of those places where you can really slow down, switch off, and just enjoy the peace and surroundings. I came here needing a proper break, and honestly, I left feeling completely refreshed. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and respectful, and I really appreciated how welcomed and comfortable I felt throughout my stay. Most importantly, I never experienced any kind of discrimination or felt treated differently because of my background. Everyone was warm and professional, and that made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere at Alila Manggis is what I loved most. It’s peaceful without feeling boring, and there’s a really nice sense of calm throughout the property. It’s the perfect place to take a break from a busy routine, relax by the pool, enjoy the views, and simply do nothing for a while. I honestly didn’t realise how much I needed this kind of getaway until I was there. By the time I left, I felt rested, recharged, and in a much better frame of mind. A big thank you to the whole team for making my stay so pleasant. The combination of the beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, and genuinely exceptional service made this a memorable experience. I’d definitely come back and would happily recommend Alila Manggis to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming escape.

Classic buildings and beautiful grounds, in a lovely quieter area. Staff are super switched on - Eva, Wayang and Angel in the restaurant were terrific. Darma and Dama were also winderful. But everyone was an ‘extra mile’. Loved it. Hope to be back.

Remote, peaceful and idyllic. With excellent cocktails, dinner and service. We did the cooking class with the head chef, first he took us to explore the impressive local market, before cooking in an outdoor hut in an organic garden in the foothills. Devine.

整體環境清幽，遠離塵囂，且保有高度安全性，服務人員親切負責。缺點是餐點及SPA費用偏高。若再來badangbai潛水，會再入住。

All good, but probably a little over-rated

Clean, relaxing stay at Alila Manggis. Different experience staying so close to the sea. At night, I could hear the strong waves crashing onto the breakwater fronting the resort. Service staff was impeccable - they tidied our room twice in a day! I think they also made it a point to know the names of guests and the room they stay. The only little hiccup was that our booking came with breakfast included. However, upon check-in, and at both mornings that we went for breakfast, we were informed we didn't have breakfast included. After explaining that we had, they checked and promptly resumed their service without further probing. Some miscommunication there, perhaps, but it would have been good if this didn't happen. Walk out to the warungs and spa just outside of the resort for more authentic local food and massage though (at a fraction of the price in the resort too).

I love everything about this hotel. The design is elegant, minimalistic, and timeless. The grounds are stunning; the pool view alone is worth a visit. The thing that really makes the Alila stand out, though, is the staff. The service is impeccable. Everyone goes out of the way to make sure you’re taken care of, but the thing that sets this hotel apart from other amazing hotels is that it comes from a place of genuine care. The people who work there seem to treat looking after others not as a job but as more of a calling. It’s extraordinary, really. I think it’s part of what makes you feel so relaxed while you’re there. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I’d say that staying at this hotel is positively soul filling. It’s one of my all-time faves.
