One of the Best experiences I had while traveling through the beach of coast of Ecuador! The penthouse has an amazing ocean view! Teresa the host was excellent, vey helpful and quick at responding any of my questions. I recommend this place, is super clean Great location! I would definitely go back anytime I can.

We loved our stay in Montanita! The Sky Vista Suite was ideal for our family and we even talked about how we could bring another family next time. It was very comfortable and just far enough south that it was peaceful, but you could still easily walk to nightlife if you desired. The manager and everyone in the hotel was lovely and Terese was an amazing host and very flexible and helpful. We can't wait to return! Thank you!

I hate to be harsh as we loved Montanita! Even during COVID- it was the most amazing time. Our stay at the property was less than ideal however. Upon arriving we realized that the building is under construction, a complete gut renovation. Because of this there is no front desk or security and a plethora of people aimlessly wandering throughout the building at all hours. We did not feel it was the most safe environment and that was with traveling with two native Ecuadorians who were the ones to point out that it was an issue-worth mentioning, a 7yr old child was “guarding” the door throughout the night. The caretaker told us that anyone in the building needed to be wearing specific wristbands that he provided upon our arrival. No one else wore these. The photos show pretty true to what you’re getting- location is great and you have a great view of the ocean/really beautiful sunsets but the place isn’t very clean. It’s doable but I would definitely check to make sure the building is no longer under construction before booking.

We had a wonderful stay! The unit is located outside the more lively streets of Montañita and is in a perfect location. We enjoyed our beach umbrellas being amongst the local Ecuadorians and felt like we really experienced the culture. Everyone is so friendly and the beach is so clean. We walked for miles every day on the beach. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. There were two couples in our group and it was perfect. The A/C is so nice to have in the bedrooms for sleeping at night. Thank you!
