Convenient location and fair price
The bed blanket was dirty when we arrived. It was changed to a clean one after shortly longer than an hour waiting after we requested for the replacement. Location was not bad at all, walking distance to a wonderful Chinese restaurant (an exclusive one), and Macy's. Was kind of quiet at night. So I heard it is surrounding by top neighborhoods. Feel safe to walk around at night time.

To start. They tried charging my card before I arrived. Then when I called he mentioned some random reason then continued to say “you can cancel if you want”. I arrived 30 min later and in the 10min conversation the front desk clerk mentions I can cancel 3 times when I’m simply trying to read everything I’m signing. There were no towels in the room for my guest and I and when I asked they only gave me 1 towel. I was not happy at all with the service. Everyone seemed annoyed when I asked for the towels

The check-in process took forever. They’re seem to be operating with a super old system. When I came down to leave there was a second man working but he didn’t assist me, just made me stand there and wait. Felt really uncomfortable. The check in desk has plexiglass around it, as if the area was unsafe. The bathroom was not cleaned well at all. When I went in I discovered hair stuck in the shower drain, plus a wad of thread and little black things in the shower. Decided to leave and find somewhere else.

This is an affordable option in an expensive area, and while rooms are simple, the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. All the bathrooms appear to have been redone nicely in 2023 (I have stayed here multiple times/different rooms since September 2023). Bedrooms are old-school motel style, but also have fridges and microwaves, and irons&boards. No coffeepot in rooms, but there's free coffee in the morning in lobby. Simple, friendly, inexpensive place to stay.

Shares a parking lot with a restaurant so parking is limited. The staff is very nice and quickly checked us in and out.
