Booking did not show up at the hotel computer. Aircon old and much too loud, after we changed to another room it was even worse.

Worst experience.
I booked online via hotels.com....sad to say i arrived at getz hotel and there was no room available..what makes it my worst experience is it was non-refundable....will never book with hotels.com again....and getz hotel too.

You get what you paid for with the extra hassle
I booked online and payed in full but upon checking in the staff said that they were overbooked on the room that we already paid. The staff did said that they are waiting for a response if they could relocate or upgrade the room however an hour or more already passed and there was still no reply. Since we could not get a refund on the room we already paid we had to upgrade it so we could check in already. It was quite a hassle on our part since we were preparing for the board exam. The room is ok. You get what you paid for but dont believe the wifi etc because there were none. In terms of cleanliness, i asked for the staff to check if the shower heater was working and upon leaving the staff left dirty foot prints on the floor and did not return to clean it so we had to clean it ourselves. Location wise, its very near sm san lazaro which is ok and grab was very accessible. I wont be staying in the hotel again given the inconvenience it brought me but if you are on a tight budget you could consider but bring extra money iust in case you experience what we did.

The communication between Expedia and the Hotel staff is not timely. You must have Expedia intervene before you get there to ensure you have the Number the Hotel uses, not the Itinerary number Expedia gives you.

Uncomfortable experience
My family and I had experienced of discomfort in Getz Hotel due to half awaken Front Desk Officer. I said half awaken because when we arrived at 4AM in that Hotel, all staff were sleeping including the Security Guard and it took us few minutes to wake them up by knocking at the door. Btw, I booked online. We came earlier than the check-in time(2pm) & i approached the Front Desk Officer & showed to her the confirmation of my booking. Since we came earlier than my booking time, i asked her if we can get the room & we can just pay the additional charge. She denied my request. Since our car plate number is in number coding that day, we approached the Security Guard & asked him if we can just leave the car there while we're looking for another Hotel wherein we can book few hours in order for us to just take our shower because we have an appointment at 2pm that same day. The Security Guard asked the approval of the person in the front desk & again she disapproved our request. So, what we did was just to leave our Driver and the car at their parking space & we (my family) went to another Hotel and booked ourselves there. When we came back in the afternoon, the FDO (new) told me that they can allow that adjustment in the booking and she said that maybe the FDO duty in the morning could just misunderstood me. Another bad experience was the unpleasant smell coming out from their shower room. We also saw big cockroach crawling on the floor which means that the floor is not sanitized
