Despite presenting valid identification clearly proving that my wife is our daughter’s mother, Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir insisted on a written consent form from me to allow our child to stay. This requirement was never communicated in advance, nor is it a standard or reasonable expectation in international hospitality. It also raises a serious concern—why should a woman need her husband’s written consent to stay at a hotel with her own child, especially when official identification clearly establishes the relationship?
