We enjoyed the lovely deck, beautiful trees, birds, deer! Very quiet. Very nice shower and the extra 1/2 bath was very nice.

Cottage was perfect for us. It had a well stocked kitchen that was perfect for our needs. The furniture was comfortable. Beach wasn't really walking distance for two 70 yr olds, but we would likely have driven anyway to accommodate chairs and towels. Spent a lovely day at the beach. Shopped Manistee downtown on the day it rained. Very thriving and friendly downtown.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was very nice with all of the extra touches. The main downfall are the fees associated with this cottage. For that reason, I won't stay here again.

Adorable cottage

One of my favorite rentals ever!!!! Perfectly located! The pictures didnt lie, every detail of the house was charming! Loved the shower, beds were comfortable, deck was relaxing! Will stay again!

The cabin was in a nice location. Seen deers everyday plus in the front yard and backyard. We took a walk i day in the woods behind the house and there was this one deer that was just folliwing us. It was awesome. We love deers and nature

Manistee Beach Week

Great Little Cottage. Perfect Location. Loved the side deck with fire pit. The owner was very cooperative and let us check in a couple of hours early with no upcharge.We would definately rent this unit again.

We loved our stay at the cottage! The house is adorable and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The beds were really comfortable, too. GREAT location, within walking distance of downtown restaurants and coffee as well as the beach. We will definitely be staying again!

Great Getaway in N. Michigan

Great little cottage for the wife and I for our honeymoon. Close proximity to downtown Manistee. Close to the beach. What more can you ask for?

Enchanting cottage near the beach!

We were so thrilled to come in and see this darling cottage that was wonderfully decorated, and very well stocked with everything one might need... we didn't cook much, as we were mostly driving all over Leelanau and Benzie Counties. I can't express how cozy and safe we felt in this lovely cottage!!

Great weekend stay!

We had a nice time at the property! I didn’t realize it doesn’t have Air Conditioning but there was a fan in every room and we were able to keep the place cool enough. It does have keurig too! The location is fantastic walking distance to downtown and close to the beach which has fire pits and a great concession stand. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location. Property was very musty, multiple cleaning issues w bathroom and kitchen. Management was accommodating. However, I would not recommend this property in its current condition.

We liked the location and the layout of the cottage was nice with two bathrooms and plenty of drawers in both, making it super user-friendly. The kitchen remodel was also nice - all worked well - sinks, shower, toilets, etc. However, the wood laminate floors need to be cleaned thoroughly throughout the cottage. We also had to clean the deck and the chairs on the deck so we could use them. My husband had to clean the garbage container because is smelled so bad and it was parked next to the deck. We actually moved it away from the deck while cleaning until the smell was no longer a problem. Also recommend an update on the TV - Roku TV was challenging to operate and it had a constant automated voice that spoke throughout while in use. A comfortable couch for the living room is must- current couch is small and outdated and very uncomfortable. It would be nice to have another comfortable reclining chair as well.

Manistee Stay at The Cottage

This was a cute rental property. However, my husband and I were quite disappointed to find out no one had been there in a while because upon opening the door to the rental we were immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of dampness, mildew & mold smell. It was rainy & cold outside so it was a bummer that we had to open all the windows to air out the cottage. The toilet pipes also need to be fixed because everytime you flushed the toilets the pipes would whistle & scream quite loudly for a minute following the flush. There were also many many spider webs everywhere in the cottage. With saying all of this, I would still recommend this rental property because it is cute, it comes with all the necessities one would need while staying in Manistee. It is also super close to a park, Lake Michigan, downtown restaurants & shopping. This little cottage as friendly neighbors and the wildlife 20 feet from the backyard is amazing! In the week we were there we seen a total of 26 deer, 3 black squirrels & 6 raccoons. The deer would get so close to us that we could reach out & touch them. The property owner also was accommodating to my husband's & my service dogs, which was greatly appreciated. Yes there is room for improvement with this property but if you can look past the few issues, it really is a wonderful stay.
