「Generally a bad experience in our one-night stay. Our room is separated from the Main Building (around 150m), it is at the opposite side of the river and above the pub (named "PUBLICHOUSE LAUGHTALE" in google map), so it is a bit noisy at night. 「Great hotel that I love to stay again. The hotel is clean and neat and tidy. It has history but it is not old to me. Meals are great and room are large. During my stay, there is one staff who can speak mandarin. Another one or two can speak general English. Other can only speak Japanese. 「A traditional onsen hotel with a historic look. Our family of 3 stayed in a standard room, nothing more than general. The dinner is Japanese style set with good looking. Yet, one kind of the mixed sashimi was still frozen hard when being served and I had never experienced this in a Japanese ryokan before. Staff were nice, but not very outgoing when compared with other ryokans. The stay was general.」
