The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He informed us that we had timed our stay perfectly because exclusively for one night only, the longest bridge in Japan would light up in celebration for Golden Week. Indeed it happened and we had a great view from our Japanese style room.

Only stayed 1 night and wouldn ’t care to stay longer. Room is small and had an odour. Very basic hotel stay not worth the price; stayed in much nicer hotels in Japan for far less money. Upside is it’s located a few minutes walk to train station and 10 minute walk to Kurashiki Old Quarter.
