Where to stay in Maokong

Tamsui
Tamsui is well liked for its riverfront and seafood restaurants. If you're hoping to get in some sightseeing, Tamsui Old Street and Tamsui Customs Wharf are top spots, and you can jump on the metro at Tamsui Station or Danjin Beixin Station to get around.

MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao

The Grand Hotel
It’s a huge hotel and very beautiful from its original detailing. We ate the buffet for both dinner and breakfast and it had pretty much everything you could think of. As a vegetarian there were several choices for me but a plethora of meat options for my family.
