Lake Wilderness is very lovely and has a beautiful pathway to walk around the lake. The park has all of the (park) amenities you can think of. I like to come here for sunrise to enjoy this peaceful reflection of Mount Rainier.

4000 ft elevation gain in 2.5 miles. It took me 2 hours 12 minutes to get to the top. Definitely the hardest hike so far.
It's a library in a tree! Came across this very clever "Little Free Library" today while hiking at the Lake Wilderness Arboretum in Maple Valley. Lovely outdoor seating areas near the lake. The fireplace, electric and temperature control, brought warmth and coziness to the cabin. Would have liked a way to brew fresh coffee.
