"We chose this location over a couple others because it had a pool and hot tub (we late found out, the hot tub is only in the suites). The inn is very unique with it's 'railroad museum' hallway. Lots of artifacts. This inn is conveniently right off of hwy 63. There is a very nice Mexican restaurant within an easy walking distance and the area was nice, quiet and secure. We were offered an upgrade to our room (regular room to a suite), we were then given our choice of a four poster or a sleigh bed. We were so glad we took the upgrade! Hot tub, sleigh bed, one of the BEST rooms we've ever had the pleasure of being in. I was so taken with the place, I wanted to extend our stay through the weekend (we stayed Thursday night, left Friday) but our schedule, unfortunately could not be adjusted.
The pool was nice, there were a couple pieces of exercise equipment (adult use only)poolside and pool toys she floaties for young children to use. There is a small playground on the backside of the hotel as well. Continental breakfast was outstanding, make your own waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, bagels, instant oatmeal, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, plus so the fixings to go along.
Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable inns we've had the pleasure of staying with."

But the beds are not to comfy and if you are looking for a elevator keep looking other than that no complaints "

"This property is in extreme disrepair. The pictures on the website do not give a current representation of the condition of this property. There is no pool - it has been filled in and planted with roses. The room was clean but it smelled awful, possibly from the aging air conditioner. The lobby is not inviting and I would not even try their coffee machine. It is good enough for a semi-cheap bed and bath."
"My cousins and I stayed at this property for a family reunion in Macon. We were all super impressed with the house!! The beds are all queen beds and super comfortable. Everything in the house is brand new!! It is beautiful and it was super clean. The host went above and beyond with communication to make sure that we knew where everything was and how to use the pull out bed in the living room. The host has literally thought of everything and had so many extras for guest. They had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, extra tooth brushes and tooth paste, other toiletries, a great selection of coffees for the Keurig and even umbrella’s by the front door. There is not one negative thing to say about this place and we will definitely be staying here again next year if it’s available."

"Our Family of 22 had a wonderful weekend in Travis and Jodis lodge. The house was immaculate, spacious and was perfectly stocked with everything a large family could need. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, swimming at nearby Long Brank Lake and just hanging out on their beautiful property grounds. We have been renting homes for our annual family get away for the past 13 years, the lodge is in our top 3 favorites! We hope to be back next year!
