“The staff were sweet and the restaurant was great. However there is a general lack of maintenance . Wasn’t just us, on speaking to other guests they all had issues with their rooms. We had three rooms 1) First room had a leak in the roof- occasionally. Probably when upstairs was showering 2) Second room -Electricity kept tripping and needed to be continually requested to switch back on 3) third room had an underground leak which FLOODED the entire room. “Complete misrepresentation of the place. First of all it isn’t a hotel, it’s a construction site. Only after you pay the non refundable fee, they send you a message saying they’re doing work on site and do not have a working restaurant. The room we got was one of the only two usable rooms and absolutely not the one we paid for. No balcony with sea view, no kitchenette and much smaller. “This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas.
