“A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming……

“We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are quiet, located in a lovely garden setting set back from the main road. Our hosts were very helpful, arranging transportation to the World Heritage Sites and a local dance presentation. Hosts will prepare breakfasts and dinners. The dinners we ate there were excellent. Best food in the area. ”

“A fantastic family run Guest House ideally situated for the Rock Fortress, Elephant Safari and Ancient Cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. All the family made us feel at home. Dinesh who runs the place arranged all our trips for us. Rooms are clean and comfortable and set in a tropical jungle like garden. Meals were lovely and plenty of variety. We highly recommend this Guest House and would love to go back one day. ”

“This accommodation is terrible. My room is on the exterior, and the windows are open, so I can hear all the outside noise at night. There were cockroaches and ants on the bed, and the towels had mites. The water pressure in the shower is very low, and there is no hot water. There were many large ants in the bathroom. I do not recommend this accommodation at all. However, there is a hairdryer available for……

“The property is in the lap of nature surrounded by fruiting plants and peacocks. It's an excellent getaway from the hustle of fast-paced city life. The best part was the host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As we arrived, he plucked fresh passion fruits from his garden and made juice for us. For lunch, he arranged delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food. For dinner, we requested grilled chicken and he arranged that as well at reasonable price. He also arranged a safari driver……
