"Pros: Mooi zwembad maar voor ons was het nog niet de tijd van het jaar omdat het nog te koud was. Wel kunnen genieten van het mooie terras er rond. Cons: Jammer dat de laatste km naar het huis zo slecht was door de vele regen. Maar daar is de tweede helft van ons vakantie aan gewerkt en was het veel beter."

Cons: The check in process was awkward as we were asked to pay a large security deposit in cash without prior notice. "This Parador is in a lovely location and is a wonderful historic building. Views from our room and from the terrace were beautiful. However, the place is rather let down by very indifferent staff. The lady on reception when we arrived was fine, but when we checked out, the guy on reception didn’t ask us if we’d had a nice stay, or even say goodbye! And the waiter on the terrace was extremely surly and ignored us for ages (seemingly choosing to serve all the Spanish people first, until I more or less stood in his way to give him our order!) Breakfast staff also quite grumpy and although breakfast allegedly continued until 11 and we were there at 9.30, lots of things had run out and were not being replenished (such as orange juice)."
