Absolutely beautiful hotel! We stayed at room #5 which was a stand alone unit so it was basically like a little apartment. It had a beautiful interior and a fully stocked kitchen as well. The owner Jantzen was super friendly and helpful. The whole property was gorgeous. The next we come to Marfa we will be staying here again for sure!

A very nice place, really impeccable in terms of stylishness and comfort, without being overbearing about either. Service was also fine, but entirely virtual. --so much so that it felt like a notel more than a motel. (Seriously, owner, would it kill your profitability to hire one person on site?). Other than that, no complaints.

Really fun stylish rooms and great location. Two things to note: we stayed in Room 5 with a lofted bedroom. Pictures featured a glass garage door open to give the room an indoor/outdoor feel. Upon arrival we were told that door had to stay closed and locked due to dust. Also the stairs leading to the bedroom are steep, metal stairs and felt a little treacherous in the middle of the night. Just something to be aware of. Other than that we loved it and would absolutely recommend.

Just the right mix of modern design and vintage decor elements. In person vibe as cool as in the instagram shots. I stayed in #4 which was one of smaller rooms and it was still awesome. Loved the in room "bar" area with fridge, sink and plates. I've stayed at 3 different Marfa hotels and this is def my favorite. Things to be aware of: no TV, no restaurant, no staff, no gym.

The rooms are well designed and comfortable. It had that Americana aesthetic but updated in a way that feels cool rather than kitschy. I loved the patio. The ambiance was everything. They even had the local Marfa radio station playing, which sounds like a small detail but it completely set the tone. The kitchenette was a nice touch too. There was a small fridge, French press, toaster oven, everything you'd actually use. As a solo traveler I wasn't cooking meals, but having a place to keep drinks cold and make a proper cup of coffee in the morning was perfect. There's no front desk staff on site but honestly you don't need it. They were quick to respond when I had questions and the whole setup just worked. This added to the Marfa experience.
