"This property is like sleeping like a museum - full of character and brings you back in time.
Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious and every inch of space is thought out.
Right by the main street, so conveniently located.
Parking is ample.
They even provided complimentary snacks (chocolate and sparkling soda) which was greatly appreciated.
Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Great stay. We stayed 4 nights. Good location for the west side of Cape Breton. Very secluded so you wont have neighbors but still easy to get to. Stewart was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Would definitely stay again. "
Spruce - Luxury Oceanview Cottage with Hot Tub & Private Beach Access near Cabot Trail
8/10 Good
"We recently stayed at this beautiful property and were truly impressed by the stunning grounds and cozy buildings. The location is absolutely perfect, offering breathtaking views of the coast and a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation. However, we did notice that the cottages could benefit from a bit more privacy. During our brief stay, the owners and their children frequently passed right in front of our cabin to access another unit while cleaning the hot tub, with one child even crossing our deck. This made it a little challenging to fully unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting.A simple privacy wall or screen would make a big difference and help guests feel more secluded while still enjoying everything this lovely property has to offer, especially when sitting in the soaking tubs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return, especially if a bit more privacy can be added to the cottage experience."
