The city is famous in the world for the production of IGP raw ham. It is possible to visit the ham production facilities with tastings. For sea lovers : Monfalcone (15 km) with its sandy beaches, Grado (26 km). For art lovers : Venice (130 km), Trieste (50 km), the regional capital that during the Austro-Hungarian Empire was the Central European living room where several writers such as James Joyce and the famous psychologist Sigmund Freud met.
