Clean room. Be prepared to set your heat in the winter then leave for a couple hours while it is warming up. Could your some rugs or carpet as the concrete floors didn't get warm until the next morning.

Nice room if you can get in.

We arrived about 11:25 PM for our family’s 2 rooms. Much as an AirBnb, there was a code to enter, and no office.The room for my daughter and her family was fine. Our room had a code that did not work. We called the after hours number and reached a very nice woman who tried to help. She told us they were fully booked, so no help there. Then, she gave us another code, but that didnt work either. She sent us to the laundry room to get a master key from the refrigerator... But no refrigerator and no key. By then, after her an hour trying to resolve this issue, along with my other daughter and my exhausted handicapoed wife, she told us we'd need to go to another hotel. Then, after reloading the car and driving for about 6 minutes, I got a call that they did, in fact, have a room we could have. Obviously, she finally got authorization from someone else. This experience caused a big morning delay before we could take our granddaughters to the DeYoung family zoo, which would be closing in a few hours. We won't be back.

It's easy to miss the entrance at night due to limited lighting. They had little sample bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion that can last for an overnight. They also had a facial and body bar. There's no hair dryer and only enough towels for a one night stay for 2 people. If you stay longer I suggest requesting more towels. We didn't use the kitchen area, but it was nice. The bed is huge and comfortable. Its a quieter area and we were also not able to hear others staying at the same hotel. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

This was amazing didn’t even realize how close we were to Lake Michigan. Loved the quiet location. Would definitely stay again. Self check in was a great experience.

Was a nice option for a leisure trip with partner or family. Even though upon entering room smelled heavily of cleaning supply, but noticed the room to be kinda dirty, electric stove was dirty, the ceiling had brown splotchess, long black hair on the edge of the already small shower, broken hanger, and dirty microwave. The tv wasnt bad and neither was the island. Enjoyed using the picnic table to enjoy the night breeze. Even tho the room wasn't the best upon checking in, what made it less fun was 3x's at 10am. 2 staff members 1 at least knocked. Said we were in there. Maybe 10 min later a male w/ a hat on was holding something along w/ paper to door code. But tried opening the door w/o knocking and if it weren't for the latchet. Dude would've been in there. And then again same lady comes around 30 min before check out time knocking luckily and asking if we wanted towels....not a fun check out time, but not a terrible ducked off place to stay at.

The only negatives were the doors from outside into the common vestibule slammed loudly. Also the water is very soft and didn’t feel like it rinsed off. Good price though and clean spacious room.
