「We came in to deal with some family business in the area and decided to stay at Doug & Mimi's cabin. They were very accommodating, as our flights were all late. They have a very clean and accessible cabin. It's far enough to get some glorious views (sunset and star) and close enough to be in town quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for some solitude, but amenities near by. Doug and Mimi were awesome, informative and hospitable. First class host!」

「This property sets the standard by which all others should be judged for excellence. The cabin was wonderfully stocked with amenities for cooking or personal use. There was even a welcome basket for the dogs, and cozy beds for them to use. Silas and Alexis even had a fire set up for us in the pit by their pond. 「We very much enjoyed out stay at the Bates Motel. So nice to be able to walk down to our boat and pop out for a quick boat ride or fishing. Didn't happen a lot during our stay since we had a fair amount of cold and rain. Couple of items to note. When arriving you want to turn down the driveway marked 6150 and stay to the right past the big house to the boat house. If this was part of the instructions we missed it. 「This beautiful home offers ample space for a dozen adults with numerous rooms and spaces. The lake and surrounding views made for an excellent backdrop for my son's wedding which was held at the property. There were dead flies along the window sills. Not just a few dead flies but hundreds of them. I communicated this to the property manager who apologized and said this was something that should not have been overlooked. Apology accepted. 「Wow. We had a fantastic time here at this wonderful lake house. The pictures online didn't do it justice. We marvelled all weekend at the scenery. Raina had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen, plenty of bedding and beds, laundry supplies, and fun activities. Kayaking was a blast on the lake. We would definitely recommend Raina's place and hope to return some day.」
