  • Come see one of Gods magical wonders of the world.
    Close to Yosemite, & Bass Lake. You can even visit Bodie State Historical Park, & Mammoth Lakes this is really a travelers dream. You are close to stores and restaurants. You can go to see the mineral exhibit, and even zip down Yosemite zip lines.
    This apartment contains all of the amenities of home, satellite TV and WiFi. The property is located in the quaint town of Mariposa. It is conveniently located between Yosemite National Park on Highway 140 & 49 and Historical downtown of Mariposa.
    This apartment sits on nearly 2 ½ acres of trees and beautiful flowers on the property. The neighborhood is very quiet. Wildlife includes deer, turkeys. Coin laundry is also on the property.

    THIS PROPERTY IS UPSTAIRS NO ELEVATOR 14 STAIRS.

We had a wonderful stay. Our family was visiting Yosimite and after picking Mariposa as a base to stay in, the Mariposa Butterfly turned out to be a very comfortable and quaint place to stay. Irene prepared the house early, settling in was smooth, and the place was in a calm quiet area. Comfortable beds, wide coffee selection, plus live turkeys and deers spotted on the surrounding land a fun bonus! To top it all off, Irene went out of her way to organize for a left behind laptop to be forwarded on to our next destination. Highly recommended stay if visiting the Sierra foothills, or Yosimite.

The apartment was very clean, quite and comfortable. The location provided easy access to Yosemite park. Irene, the host, responded to our text messages. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again.

Nice condo in the wonderful community

Our family stayed for a few days in Mariposa. The apartment was clean and had all the necessities. Love this little town- friendly people, lots of dining options within 5 minutes drive, not far from Yosemite.

This apartment was perfect for our trip to Yosemite. It was about an hour and 20 minutes from Curry village. Mariposa is a small town but has all the amenities you need.

Very cute and prevalent butterfly theming, a lot of love went into this home. The water filter was an excellent addition as well. About an hour from Yosemite, straight down 140. Host was nice and accommodating when I wanted to add a day to my stay as well :)

Great spot!

It was so easy to hop on the highway and get to Yosemite from here, which is exactly what we were looking for. Irene was friendly and her communication was prompt and helpful. The apartment was roomy and comfortable and exactly as advertised. It was perfect for our family of 4 (1 adult, 3 kids)!

Great Place to Stay for Yosemite Visit

We had a great time staying here for our 5-day trip to visit Yosemite. This 2BR apartment was perfect for our group of 4 adults, A great retreat to return to after long days of hiking in the park. The location was good as there were several good restaurants in Mariposa and we were about 45 minutes away from Yosemite Valley. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the area. Irene was a great host.

Great Value for visiting Yosemite NP

Convenient location. This rental worked well for getting to famous Natural destinations. The town has a good grocery store and several gift shops. Wawona Hotel Restaurant, not far into the National Park, gets our thumbs up for its warm, attractive, and historical setting. Irene has taken care to provide comforts of home and a relaxing mattress for our weary bones!

Beautiful apartment

It was a lovely apartment to stay in. Very close to the yart bus pick up for Yosemite. It was better than what I was expecting. Deer and turkeys were in the back yard to watch while b.b.q.ing. Everything was perfect for our stay.

Quiet home away from home

We so enjoyed our stay at Irene’s apartment. The twin beds room was perfect for our kids and the queen room for my husband and I gave everyone the space they needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast before a day at Yosemite. One morning we saw wild turkeys from the kitchen window and the next, deer with fawns! Irene was very responsive and gave us so many ideas of places to visit in the area. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great condo in Mariposa

House has all amenities one would expect for a vacation home next to Yosemite (there's a water filter with cold and hot water, coffee machine, AC in every room, big TV and everything else you could need. Irene was an amazing host. Would definitely be back!
