Come play, unwind, and explore Yosemite—all while staying at this peaceful, ranch-style mountain retreat.

Nestled among towering, 100+ year-old ponderosa pines, Yosemite Pines Retreat offers a serene setting perfect for reconnecting with nature and loved ones. Whether you’re planning a fun family getaway or a romantic escape, this property has something for everyone.

Nature, Play & Relaxation All in One Place
Enjoy visits from deer, bunnies, and wild turkeys as you sip your morning coffee. Relax in the heavenly garden, gather around the fire pit for s’mores under a sky full of stars, take a dip in the above-ground pool (open May–September), soak in the spa, or challenge your group to a lively game of ping-pong or horseshoes.

For the little ones, there’s a custom two-story playhouse complete with swings, and a climbing wall (110 lb weight limit). And yes — there are miniature ponies! Friendly and gentle, they live just steps from the house and love visitors.

Comfortable Living for Groups or Couples
The home features 1,600 sq. ft. of living space with 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully equipped laundry room. It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests.

Inside, you’ll find all the essentials: linens, towels, paper products, soaps, and cleaning supplies. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and dining, and the dining table seats eight comfortably for shared meals and conversation.

Nice location

We enjoyed our stay! Location was great to access both entrances to Yosemite. We loved the tunnel view as well as driving along the river. The property was very peaceful and had everything we needed.

What a great property

We loved staying at this house. It was clean and an well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub is great to be in! If we ever get the chance to be back in the area we would gladly stay there again. Thanks for having us.

We enjoyed our time here. The set up if the house is great for family time and we all could sit at the table together! Everything was well kept and in good order. The kitchen is lovely and has excellent appliances. Overall, just really nice place to stay!

Very lovely house

Such a lovely setting. The house is beautiful and it has every you need. The hot tub and is such a wonderful amenity to have after a long day hiking at Yosemite. The owner is very accommodating. We would happily visit this home again.

Beautiful calm property

This is a beautiful home, that came with absolutely everything we needed, plus the large hot tub was amazing after hiking all day in Yosemite. The property was super clean and my friends even saw a family of dear walk by! The entrance to the south and arch rock entrance of Yosemite are relatively close and easy to access from the home.

This Place Hits All the Marks

This is definitely one of the very best vacation homes we've stayed at. The home is tastefully appointed throughout... and didn't lack for anything. Even so, the best part was the exterior decks and the beautiful views. Beth, our host, personally greeted us upon arrival which we found quite welcoming.

5 night holiday stay

We had a lovely 5 night stay - we really enjoyed our time there. Spotlessly clean property. Very peaceful location. Pool, basketball, hot tub, table tennis all great. Lovely little horses. Deck area lovely to sit out on. Lots of sitting space inside also. Master bedroom with lovely en suite. It is 1 to 1.5 hours from principal Yosemite locations, but easy drives

Amazingly Clean!

One of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed at! It smelled fresh and clean the second we stepped through the front door. It is a spacious home with lots of room to spread out both inside and out. The kids loved the pool! You have everything you need in a very workable and well-stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to stay there again in the years to come.

Mariposa gem

This property gave my family what we need. A hidden quiet relaxing stay. Having to relax in a hot tub while watching the stars is a plus. Only regret we have is not have a full day at the house since we’ve been hiking in Yosemite the whole time. Beth even gave us a welcome treat. We would come back and stay.

Totally awesome stay!

We just wish we had booked for more nights!! Thank you so much Beth, we hope to return some time. Drive to Yosemite is amazing, it took us around 90mins, but either way is very beautiful. We had two wonderful days in the park, and we all loved coming back to Beth’s house, which was very homely, spacious and well equipped. The children in particular loved the nature, including the deer, ponies and the horses! Sadly our car rental failed to start on our first day, but Beth and team were able to help us start the car and give us jump leads should it happen again. We can’t thank her enough.

An amazing space and beautiful getaway

What a private and truly rural spot. However, this home has all the amenities you need. It’s just an hour to Yosemite and is such a beautiful drive that you won’t mind it. We don’t have young children but admired the set up for them. The jacuzzi was so needed after hiking upper Yosemite falls and that sky was priceless!! The stars were stunning and awe inspiring. There is a very friendly cat named Eddie who greets you and you likely will see the family of deer that sneak around. It’s just a lovely experience. Thank you for allowing us to share such a peaceful space.

Great stay in Mariposa

I stayed here with my wife, my dad, my stepmom, and my middle brother for a Yosemite trip. It is conveniently located about 15 minutes from downtown Mariposa and an hour from the center of the park. Beth wad awesome! She made sire we had everything we needed for our stay, and even chatted with us while we were in the pool. The bedrooms wre clean, AC worked great (hottest days of the year when we stayed) and was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be making this my go-to spot for 3 bedrooms when going to Yosemite. Say hi to Beth for me! She was great, attentive, and courteous. She was easy to contact and very attentive when the power went out while we were in the park (affected our stay 0). I highly recommend this property and this host!

Memorial Day adventure to Yosemite!

Beth, the host, was so accommodating and helpful! The house is cute and really well stocked, the view is lovely but the farm animals were a our favorites! We had a blue heron in the front yard each morning and the little blue eyed Siamese cat was the sweetest cat I have even been around. We cooked the first two nights and went to the ramen restaurant in Mariposa for the 3rd night. Great kitchen to cook in! The drive into Yosemite is right at an hour and it is just gorgeous. The closest entrance we used (two or three turns from the house) never had more than a 5 minute wait and we went early one morning but around 10 a.m. the next morning. We thought it would be chaotic over Memorial Day but it was a breeze. Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and I've been to 80% of the National parks. Great house, great area, great host! I would highly recommend and I hope we can get back there in the next few years.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this property! Private and quiet. Away from light pollution so the dark skies were amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. It was so sweet to be greeted by Oliver and French Fry everyday. And Eddie the cat was a sweetheart. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Great location for access to Yosemite. Would definitely stay here again!

The Yosemite Pines Retreat was excellent for our family of 6! Beth was a friendly, responsive hostess. The kitchen is well-stocked with any utensil you may need. The pool, hot tub, fire pit, cornhole, ping-pong were all used every day! It was the perfect retreat after long hiking days. Downtown Mariposa is charming and we ate at some great restaurants!
