“We arrived at about 11:30 pm and had to wake up the owner/manager who drove over to let us in 5-10 minutes later. There was no one around the neighborhood but it was a little unnerving so late at night. We did not have a chance then or in the am to see how close any restaurants were to the hotel. The unit- a two bedroom apartment- was very neat and clean. It was an upstairs unit with no elevator. The owner/manager did carry one of the bags up for us. The bed was comfortable. The hot water……

Requested a non-smoking room and arrived not just to a room that had been smoked in but one that reeked of overpowering cigarette smoke even after we opened windows and doors for some time.
