"Arrived on the biggest festival day of the year but staff was great and helped us navigate the crazy parking situation as the city gates were closed making their normal lot unavailable. Room was small as expected but perfectly located near everything. Breakfast was very good and lots of room for the packed house. Ate at the hotel restaurant which was very good as well. Great value and spotlessly clean. "
"Typical German Gasthaus. Parking can be a challenge getting out when lot is full. Limited pillows for bed. Stayed in Room 6 and did not have rouladin, so light shone in room and did not contribute to privacy. "

"The hotel is extremely beautiful with a nice view to the valley and right in the center of the old town. The hotel team is very kind. Rooms are comfortable, beautiful and make you feel you're in a movie. Breakfast is very delicous too with fresh food. I stayed there with my wife for out 15th anniversary and they even decorated the room romatically - depite me requesting it last minute. I really appreciated that. "
"From the moment we arrived Genghis who was front of house, waiter and valet was wonderful and friendly
We upgraded to a suite and enjoyed the extra perks
The hotel is right in the centre of Rothenburg am der Tauber so perfectly located
We loved our 2 nights there and Genghis made this part of our road trip extra special"
"We weren't sure what to expect from the room - and we were stunned. It was big - I've had smaller apartments. Had a room at the rear of the property that overlooked the biergarten/restaurant, with a view of the city. French doors opened all the way for fresh air. We were on the top floor, so there wasn't a balcony, so if that's your thing, ask for a second-floor room.
Rothenburg is very walkable. We took the train there, and the property is only about a 15-minute walk from the Bahnhof. We'd visit again.
The staff was exceptional, property relaxed and easygoing, and recommend staying here to anyone planning a trip to Rothenburg. The central location makes it extra convenient."
"Smaller hotel in a historic building, parking is a bit of a challenge if you have a large car.
Note that the heritage building rules do not allow for an elevator, but the staff is very helpful and will take your luggage to and from your room. Still, if you have severe mobility issues, this place might not be for you.
One of the few places in Rothenburg that have air conditioned rooms available.Breakfast was excellent."
"Nice hotel in a great location; across the street from the train and bus stations, as well as a supermarket. Not far from city center. My room does not have window shades to keep the early sunlight out, that is the only downside. I definitely would stay here again. "
"Great location close to the main attractions but in a very quiet area. Breakfast was great with good variety. We had a suite on the top floor which was very spacious and comfortable. "
