  • A perfect quiet retreat or to start your next Great Adventure. Kayak the lake, bird watch, fish, and then start a campfire at night under the stars! Nestled in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest there are many trails for hiking, biking, ATV riding, snowmobiling, waterfalls, and bird watching right outside your front door.

    Downtown Munising is a 20-minute drive to local boating, fishing, waterfalls, lighthouses, shopping, restaurants, rock hounding and Pictured Rocks National Lake shore. Perfect getaway for couples, families, and friends. Also in close proximity to downtown Marquette and Grand Marias.

    Cabin includes kitchen with utensils, 2-burner stove, toaster oven, microwave, regular coffee maker, and refrigerator. Fully furnished with electricity, running water and a full bathroom. Charcoal Grill, Table, and Kayaks included. Most cell phones work in the area, but great wifi. We are dog friendly. Dirt Roads to Cabin.

Perfect setting for our honeymoon. We were able to enjoy some quiet time on the small lake including plenty of fishing and some kayaking. Perfect location for day trips to the Lake Superior coast.Plenty of great memories to take home w us.

We had stayed at this cabin a few years ago and it is even nicer than it was back then, with updates in the bathroom and railings. It's a beautiful location on a lovely, quiet lake and last time, we had enjoyed a campfire, rowing around in a canoe and hanging outside at sunset. But that was a September visit. We found that in June, the bugs are soooo bad that we couldn't be outside at all, something we probably should have anticipated. Luckily, the cabin was very cozy for hanging out and nearby attractions, like the pictured rocks trails weren't nearly as buggy as the inland lake, so we had plenty to do. We would stay here again in a less buggy season. Everything you need in a cozy very private-feeling location.
