Decent, clean, older apartment building. Hard to find as not along the road but you have to walk a couple of minutes along a narrow driveway to find it. Friendly, helpful staff, Harry in particular.

Basic, a little dated but comfortable!

The apartments are clean and functional, they have everything you need to a basic stay, cooking and cleaning! The property and facilities are alittle dated and our shower riser didn’t work so we had to balance the shower head to clean! The beds were reasonably comfy and they do also provide duvets should you wish! Was far too hot for me when we stayed. On checking in the staff did speak alittle English which made checking in easier as my French isn’t great! There is a communal washer and drier downstairs along with a couple of vending machines for the basics! We couldn’t find an immediate shop nearby but the center is only a short tram trip down the road! Overall we were very happy and comfortable and the price was excellent so if your just after a base camp or somewhere to stay for an extended time without breaking the bank I would highly recommend!

Generally it was a nice stay. The staff was friendly and our room was clean and even before our check-in time available. But the residence is just too far away from the Marseille city center. From the vieux port you travel by tram for about 10 minutes and then walk for 20 additional minutes from the tram stop to the residence, which is very secluded. A positive factor from the fact that it was secluded: it was very quiet around the hotel. Plus because it is far away from the city center the hotel is fairly low priced.

Décevant, n'y allez pas

Nous sommes restés 5 jours en pleine période de canicule. Un ventilateur pour deux dans un appartement "à peu près" propre : ce qui est visible était propre joint de la salle de bain, calcaire, draps, et dès qu'on regarde mieux : nids de poussière sous le lit, peinture écaillée partout, réfrigérateur même pas remis en fonctionnement et propre (une odeur...). Pas de proposition de changements de draps/serviettes alors que nous sommes restés 5 jours et que le temps s'y prêtait au vu de la chaleur. Pas de proposition de ventilateur supplémentaire et de bouteille d'eau en plus. Dans une situation comme celle ci le minimum est de donner la possibilité aux gens de survivre à la canicule. Service absent.

Cela fait 2 fois que nous venons séjourner à City Résidence et c’est vraiment sympa. L’équipe est très disponible et agréable, j’ai apprécié la qualité du matelas qui nous a bien reposé. Il y avait quelques tâches et poils sur les draps, c’est aussi pour cela que je n’attribue pas 5 étoiles. Le quartier n’est pas très plus agréable avec le camp de Gitan au pied de la résidence. Je déconseillerais aux femmes seules de s’y aventurer tard la nuit. Sinon, c’est globalement sécurisé car ils ont installé un système de code pour accéder au bâtiment ! Ce qui n’était pas le cas avant, donc nous avons vraiment apprécié. Sinon, la proximité du tram St Pierre et des différents bus est vraiment appréciable, vous êtes en ville en quelques minutes ! Que ce soit pour un séjour en couple ou en famille c’est vraiment super, la qualité générale est très bien pour le rapport qualité/prix. C’est vraiment calme la nuit, aucun soucis de nuisance sonore pour notre part. Il manquerait juste une climatisation, bien qu’un ventilateur est à disposition directement dans la chambre, on ne peut pas dormir la fenêtre fermée donc bonjour les moustiques en cas de forte chaleur 😄 La kitchenette est très pratique, et la salle de bain était vraiment propre. On y retourne avec plaisir pour notre prochain voyage à Marseille, à très bientôt!
