Well-located villa in Provence, 90 m² with a swimming pool
The house is a pleasant place to live, thanks to its bright living room and its quiet, pleasant garden.
Located on the outskirts of a charming little Provençal town that has retained its village charm (Auriol, 13390), our house is in a quiet and secure residential area (with a gate at the entrance and exit). There are opportunities for walks nearby. Close to several towns worth visiting: - 23 min from Mimet (the highest village in the department) - 24 min from Cassis - 26 min from La Ciotat - 30 min from Marseille - 30 min from Aix-en-Provence
Highlights: - a bright living room with an open kitchen (a lovely sense of space). - Air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms. - A flower-filled, peaceful garden with a furnished patio (outdoor table, shaded in the afternoon), approximately 400 m². During the season, you can pick raspberries daily (and we highly recommend it—yum!). - Opportunity to pick herbs in the garden (mint, basil, thyme, rosemary, cilantro, parsley...). - A small outdoor seating area (seats 6) on the terrace, with a removable umbrella. - The pool. - The gas grill. - 2 restrooms. - Lots of comic books to read (for kids and adults). - Alarm system. - Parking spaces (2 cars).
IMPORTANT: - We don’t have a TV. We have the TV set but don’t receive any channels. However, you can connect to the TV (as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime) via the Firestick (Amazon) that we provide (with instructions on how to use it).
- We have an adorable cat to take care of if we can’t bring him along, and 4 little turtles to feed (with lettuce)—your kids will love it! (The automatic kibble dispenser and the cat flap will limit your work to just filling his water bowl!)
- For the past few months, major construction has been underway right across the street from us. This may cause some inconvenience during your stay (mainly noise), but if you plan to spend little time at home during the day, the construction shouldn’t bother you much (though it does start early in the summer). NOTE: The noisiest phase of the construction is now complete. The current disruptions are manageable. To help you make your decision, we’ve created a video so you can get a sense of what the construction noise is like right now (March 2022): https://youtu.be/nX78JM_29os
