Ce que je déplore est qu’il ont une très belle piscine mais elle n’est pas entretenue elle était très sale pendant tout le mois où j’ai été la, même si j’ai eu plusieurs discutions avec surintendant qui me promenait quelle serait nettoyé ! Ensuite l’hébergement n’est pas du tout ce que nous voyons sur les photos, terrasse inutile en plein soleil sans équipement, chambre très sombre et mal équipé!

The grounds were very nice with well kept gardens and also a great poor area to relax at. The room was spacious, with a big bathroom and open area by the bath. To reach the room upstairs the stairs were quite steep but the room was spacious and had nice views over the surrounding fields. There is also a restaurant on site which is convenient and there were a range of options for breakfast. Travel to and from to Ubud and attractions was easy (both taxi and free shuttle) and staff were friendly and happy to help. The only downfall of our stay was that we did not have any wifi, and the staff were unable to fix it (may be because our room was far from the front desk ), which was a bit frustrating but apart from this we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet garden property close to Ubud
Warm welcome on arrival and access to room immediately.
We started in one room but were shifted to another the next day. Our first room had a very hard bed and I asked for a mattress topper, this wasn't available but they offered us the room next door with the same level. The first room had a narrow bath with shower overhead which for a 70+ year old was a bit difficult climbing in and out. Second room ticked all the boxes, comfortable bed, big airy bathroom with designated shower area. A step down from the bed area was a comfortable room with lots of light and sofa to rest on.
To us there was no comparison between the 2, the second was so much more pleasant to stay in.
This room was next to the library - lounging garden area with the spa treatments just off if. We had a spa treatment, in fact I had 2 and they were both very relaxing.
There is a restaurant and separate bar on the property and we ate and enjoyed the food at both. Their shuttle service is frequent and very helpful.
Suggest you ask for one of the refurbished rooms. Because we are considering a family holiday we also looked at the cottages which held 4 with 2 beds upstairs, these also had a connecting room which would be suitable for a larger family, or can be hired out separately.

Geweldig mooi en liefdevol onderhouden tuin, mooie cottages, en bovenal ontzettend lief en behulpzaam personeel.
Onze zoon is te backpacken in Azië en we hebben samen een week doorgebracht bij Taman Harum, hij was die week jarig en de kok heeft een mooie taart gemaakt die ze zingend kwamen brengen, erg ontroerend!
Het complex ligt eigenlijk vlakbij het plaatsje Mas 7 km van Ubud en heerlijk rustig
Absoluut een aanrader!

Great little hotel with excellent restraunt on site we booked the superior suite which was excellent value with bags of storage.staff amazingly polite and couldn't do enough for you.
Beautiful Cotteges with a Traditional Forest Feel. Very quiet & relaxing. Beautiful & friendly staff. We stayed in a superior cottege which was big & generous in size, clean & modern appliances. Watch out for the mozzies though! Normal in Ubud though due to the soroundings.
Wifi was disappointing as it only worked sometimes & breakfast could be improved, not much choice & they always ran out of food.
Overall though great place!

Probably the best hotel value in Bali
Had a great stay at Taman Harum Cottages. The grounds aren't "like" a garden--they ARE a garden. My cottage was clean, cool and picturesque. What's more was that the affordability of Taman Harum allowed me to explore MUCH more of Bali on my budget. It was my launching point for SCUBA excursions to the south and canyoning to the north. If you decide to stay here, don't forget to check out the on-grounds pizzeria and wood-carving shop. I would definitely stay with Taman Harum again.

Lovely staff, poor location
The staff are very helpful and friendly. The resort is a little old but has a lot of culture to it. It is a 15 minute drive to ubud so the location is a problem. The hotel provide a free shuttle service to ubud which is great.

Nice hotel with traditional Balinese style grounds. About 10 minutes out from the centre but they offer a shuttle service whenever you want plus we had a bike so enjoyed the exploring. Would definitely recommend

Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel was nice and quiet and although a little distance from central Ubud the free shuttle ensured this was no problem. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great pool !

Die Anlage liegt ca 10 Minuten ( mit dem Roller) vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter aber gut eingerichtet.

Excellent Balinese Environment
A mix of tradition and modernity mixed in this picturesque environment.
The staff is excellent: the manager Ms. Foresty and the assistant manager Mr. Balik were most efficient in meeting the customers' needs.
The restaurant in the premises is a great help for customers coming at odd hours during the day. The kitchen staff is friendly and also ready to assist with your special requests although there is a set menu.

Heerlijk!
We bleven 4 nachten in Taman Harum, een mooi traditioneel hotel buiten Ubud. Onze kamer was erg ruim, schoon en met een klein terras aan de voorkant. De gebouwtjes/kamers zijn gelegen in een prachtige tuin met prettig zwembad. Het is er erg rustig en rustgevend. Het hotel ligt een eindje buiten het centrum van Ubud, maar biedt een gratis shuttle service op afroep. Het vriendelijke personeel is enorm behulpzaam en kan helpen bij het organiseren van activiteiten of tours. Zeker een aanrader.

Tranquil gardens
Rooms were spacious,clean and with nice furnishings.
Unfortunately TV only had Asian channels but DVD player made up for this with DVD's available at reception.
Outdoor shower was a delight!
