"This log cabin with vaulted ceilings and upper loft for sleeping and historical outdoor hunting lure and taxidermied specimens offered the perfect connection with the quiet rural north wood atmosphere of the Copper Penninsula surrounding. While being distant from the Houghton city atmosphere, it allowed close access to this historic town within minutes; along with most of my favorite atractions west of town including Covered Road, the Freda historic smelt factory site, Redridge dams, etc. I will return!"
