Top Matamata Hotel Reviews

The Clements Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"My room, bathroom and the hotel were meticulously maintained, clean and comfortable. I was traveling solo and there was zero awkwardness when being shown to a table at the restaurant. Great staff. Definite recommend!"

No1 Motels On Victoria

8/10 Good

"All rooms are upstairs but there is an elevator. We found the young lady at the desk to be polite and she was very helpful. We had two rooms, one with ensuite. The only issue we had was the shower door would not shut correctly. Their were tv's in both rooms but air-con only in our ensuit room. Both rooms has a jug, tea, coffee ect and a our room had a small refrigerator. The main dining and kitchen area was really big, clean, with all you needed to cook meals ect. There was milk, coffee, tea ect here as well. There was also everything you needed for breakfast as well -weetbix, cornflakes, bread for toast as well as spreads and more. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

Bethlehem Motor Inn

8/10 Good

"Staff were very helpful with planned late arrival. Instructions were easy to follow and arrival was smooth. The unit is next to a busy road and is very handy to the expressway to Tauranga and Mt Maunganui - which meant finding it was easy. But as a result there was quite a bit of traffic noise. We booked the two bedroom unit with fold-out bed for our 5th family member. The fold-out was broken and when pointed out to the management they said this was normal and all the units had similar fold-outs. We have used fold-outs extensively and this is not normal. As a result our son has aggravated a back spasm so unfortunately we will not be returning to this property."
