“This property was amazing, one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! It was clean and spacious, exactly as advertised. The staff was great, the chef made amazing meals, the property manager (Donna) was really great - she set up tours, dinner reservations and gave us some great recommendations for activities and things to do. “We had mostly unfortunate weather during our stay in Matemwe, which was a shame (and please note that the rain does not enter the villa, even during heavy storms, unlike one previous reviewer's comments). But the villa is stunning, Matemwe as a location is the least spoilt and developed of all the main beaches in the north of Zanzibar, and Natalia is a wonderful host. The photos don't really do it justice. The beachfront location means that when the sun is out, the best place to be is lying on……
