"This was mostly an amazing stay. The room was nice and same with the bathroom. I only have 2 complaints: 1) we were on the first floor and the footsteps above us were very loud and woke us many times during the night. 2) the chairs at the pool do not allow your lower back to rest on the chair unless you sit on the metal bar. They were uncomfortable! However, the chairs at the beach were an amazing bonus."

"Now have to 'request' coffee maker. On duty manager wanted to argue about setup even though sign in room said 'on request'. Hope this isn't all HIE policy. Limited breakfast last day due to 'an emergency'. Overbooked, king bed and sofa really isn't an upgrade from 2 Q's, a small partician does not make 'suite,"

"Unfortunate because we had higher hopes for this stay. We walked in to check in close to 7 pm, needing to get checked in and ready for a dinner reservation with family from out of town. I walked in the lobby and NO ONE. Literally no one showed up, I yelled multiple times and no one showed up. I stood there for OVER 20 minutes until the lady came in. I let her know I had been waiting that long and was late for dinner with family. She snarkily responded “Well theres other guests in the hotel and I had to fix a TV.” I’ve never in my life stood in a lobby alone for over 20 minutes unattended. Very excessive. Also the phone rang multiple times unanswered…great customer service. Shame on La Quinta for not giving them proper support to run a nationally recognized hotel. So we get our room and the rooms are fine, for the most part. Our kid couldn’t take a bath because there’s no stopper for the bathtub. Then we tried to call the front desk, phones in the rooms are non-operational. So I searched the location on my Apple Maps and hit the call button…guess what you connect to? A phone sex company who greets you with “if you want to talk to hot girls, press ***” This is ridiculous. We noticed another guest left their car door open wide open at night so I went to the front desk to report it. The gentleman there was nice enough but you could tell they clearly don’t support the desk. Hot tub was also broken, was never told that. They never once apologized for anything. Zero accountability.
