「Instead of a room in the Chateau Hotel I was allocated a stand alone cabin in the grounds, which was OK but drab and not what I booked. The cabin plain-pied was clean but initially very cold on entry. Shower head was broken. Parking outside was a positive feature. OK for a night and the room was clean and tidy, bathroom was clean and functional, but it was not a Chateau Hotel. It was a cabin. The restaurant however was charming downstairs in the cellar/cave and the food was good and not overly...

「We were stranded in Saint-Quentin (family of 4 with two young girls) and Oliver - the host - took us under his wing and went above and beyond for our family. From driving us to and from where we were stranded to cooking room-served dinners for our girls. The breakfast is wonderful and the room was stylish, luxurious and comfortable. Definitely stay here at Oliver’s and his wife’s beautiful place. 」

「We arrived very late and found the self check in kiosk didn't work. We eventually got through to an attendant who came and organised key cards for us. Luckily he hadn't left before we tried to access our rooms as these cards didn't work, he sorted this out but the whole check in process took around 45 minutes at 3am so it wasn't the best experience. The attendant was nice and helpful; the rooms were very basic but clean.」
