Exceptional grounds, gardens vegetation, lots of eating options, beautiful pools, swim up bar and rooftop eternity pools, beaches, patio bathtubs, rooms were nice and comfortable, all inclusive! Very nice overall, however I would like to have seen a more cultural diversity of entertainment, I. e, Barbados “Basian” art and dance. Recommend, Yes!

The property was great. The wait staff were polite but some staff appeared somewhat bored and some staff were difficult to understand as they were mumbling. The housekeeping did a good job of cleaning the room but were not always consistent ie one day our room did not get cleaned until evening. Getting towels replaced automatically was an issue but housekeeping were willing to deliver towels upon request.

This property is designed for an older crowd. 40 age group. The staff was just okay not terrible but not great. Butler service was pointless. Dinners close too early. For an all inclusive resort the room service is only available if you upgrade your room and even if you do the room service stops at 11 unless you have a butler room. God forbid you call and need water since they forgot to fill the complimentary mini fridge the entire stay. Food is a 10 though even though the Sushi place serve us raw chicken in our spring rolls. Bars try to close up hours before their scheduled time and make you feel as if you are disturbing them to ask for a drink. Couples massages were amazing. 1 out of 5 days the DJ at the main pool was on point. There’s not a lot of shows or activities. Like I said it’s designed for those who wake up at 7am on vacation and eat dinner at 5pm. No clubs or parties or entertainment on property. Pools are jacuzzis are 24 hours but they shut off all the lights and shut down all bars to deter you from going including underwater safety lights. Plenty of food options and walk up snack places. Pizza shop was amazing. Not somewhere we would return to but it’s a stamp in the passport.

Good beach and pools, but not much else.
This was not a luxury experience. Overall, quite poor value for money. Very nice grounds, pools and beach. The food was very mediocre, no great meals. The hotel infrastructure has no spare capacity--restaurants are full and you must reserve and sun chairs are impossible to find after 8am. The only point of the butler service is to help you reserve chairs early in the morning. Otherwise, I found my interactions with them kind of exhausting. The staff were generally nice and helpful, but it is a slower paced Caribbean vibe so be patient. I imagine they have a lot of turnover and have to train new staff every week.

The resort is beautiful, the food is excellent & varied but the jewel in the crown is without a doubt the staff. Everybody is friendly beyond belief, helpful and just plain fun. Special mention needs to go to: Makayla of the donut shop with whom we had a wonderful chat sitting outside during a lull in business. Ryan, Ken and Tory at the dive shack who made my first dives after many years worry free. Maxwell of maintenance who dropped everything he was doing to help us with our room door that locked us out. Rhea of the Cafe de Paris who was a picture of efficiency, making crêpes, dispensing pastries, coffees & ice cream nonstop, always agreeable, never flustered. Thanks to all!

Our first time at a Sandals resort, and it was fabulous. Plenty of excellent restaurants to choose from for dining, multiple pools with plenty of sunbeds, and a lovely beach area. Jamisha from the wedding team was fantastic and made the whole process of a destination wedding very easy. Highly recommended.

The staff is the most unique thing about this property. Second to them is the variety of amenities, you are never bored. Although the Spa is an additional cost, I recommend you try at least one service with them. We hope to go back some day.

Sandals Barbados offers just the amount of quiet needed for a relaxing vacation. The room was clean, but not spectacular in terms of pure extravagance (noisy ceiling fan, issues with daily towel replacement, showing a bit of wear) and fell short of what we experienced at the La Toc Sandals in St. Lucia. We loved the quiet of the European pool. Service was okay for the most part but again lacked the energy and attentiveness of a past Sandals trip. That being said, some individuals merit acknowledgement including the shuttle driver Courtney, the young lady who works the bar at the front entrance nightly, and Shamya, our fabulous waitress at the Greenhouse restaurant. Food from Butch's Chophouse, Kimonos, Bombay, Potofino's and The Greenhouse was excellent. The same cannot be said for Neptune's unfortunately, as it was just average. Overall, a fine relaxing vacation, but a bit short of our expectations for a five star resort.

Property was lovely, some good amenities, rooms just ok. Rooms were not cleaned during our stay, beds were made and towels refreshed, mini bar serviced on occasion but that’s it. Sinks, tubs not cleaned during our entire stay. Asked for 3 days for face cloths and hand towels before receiving. With the exception of a few lovely and helpful staff members, service was slow and truculent. We were Club service members and every time we went into the Club Lounge we encountered apathy and attitude, and were made to feel like our asks were putting out the team, for things like dinner reservations, check out clarification, etc (save the last time we went in, for check out - which took forever but the associate was at least helpful - after refusing to check us out initially). Service in restaurants, with a few exceptions, was same. Staff seem disengaged and bothered by guests. In La Parisienne we had a sweet breakfast server who got our order wrong 4 times. We actually were willing to play along and continue to repeat our order because she was one of the few pleasant servers. I also know we are coming out of a pandemic and supply chain issues are abound, but food was mediocre at best, and claims of premium liquor (in mini bars, available throughout the resort for a club members) were just untrue and when we tried to order bottles of wine (at our additional expense) from the wine list, all three options were unavailable. Very disappointed and will not return to Sandals.

Gorgeous property, amazingly friendly staff, and food offering was high quality. The only negative was they didn’t have a customer experience plan for when a bunch of us arrived and our rooms weren’t ready. No worries on the room not ready, just let us go enjoy the property. So the first hour or so wasn’t great, but then the week was tremendous thereafter.

Sehr große Anlage mit 2 All Inklusive Hotels und 20 Restaurants, welche gutes Abendessen bieten. Frühstück ist überall gleich eintönig. Missstände, wie in den Treppenhäusern lagert Müll und Extra Gebühren für Tauchen, welches inklusive sein soll, wurden dem Management angezeigt. Man wollte sich kümmern. OK, haben nur nicht gesagt bis wann. Also nicht bis zu unserer Abreise.

The staff at the concierge were rude and inattentive. Whenever we called the front desk, we often did not get through. It took us 2 hours past check in time to get our room. We heard from multiple people at the resort how unhappy they were with the service. On the other hand, we loved our room. We chose the room with the soaking tub and swim-up pool. Thank goodness for the room and the all inclusive benefits which made our experience at this Sandals resort enjoyable.

Don't book this hotel!
Arrived at reception where they had no record of our booking. Waited three hours before this was resolved then we had a multitude of problems for the 4 nights we stayed. No sunbeds available unless you get up at 6.30am to claim one. No towels available. Issues with getting into restaurants and not only the bookable ones. Extremely rude staff especially the barmaid Cathy at the courtyard bar, the hostess at Bombay and the hostess at Schooners. So much so that we actually couldn't believe it. Some staff are helpful but others shouldn't be working in the hospitality industry. Will never return and will tell everyone i speak to don't ever go to a Sandals resort. Glad we were only there for 4 nights. Some people we spoke to where there for 10 nights and were so upset

A 5 star resort with 2 star (at best) service. 1st time Sandals guests, decided to treat ourselves to 3 nights for birthday celebrations & 4th wedding anniversary. On arrival, no welcome drinks, no acknowledgment of our celebrations, (or throughout the rest of our stay for that matter). We were quarantined for our first night (although fully vaccinated & negative tested), we did not receive room service as offered, no food or drink (other than mini bar). So from 5pm through 7am the next morning, we didn’t eat and we hadn’t eaten since breakfast on morning of travel due to flight times etc. Reception staff extremely unhelpful, no accountability, no management and no resolution or effort to make up for the terrible treatment and service, even though we were assured (3 times) that the ‘incident’ would be investigated. Which it wasn’t. We witnessed other couples complaining at reception too, so not just us! Vegetarian food was served with shrimp, even though expressly ordered as vegetarian, chef thought it was ok to pick out the shrimp and reserve cold..as if we wouldn’t be able to tell. Tennis lesson booked with a pro, but cancelled the night before with no explanation. Basically, if you want to have a great time in Barbados, don’t stay here, stay somewhere cheaper & go support local restaurants, where the service is way better, people much nicer and appreciate your custom.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! The food was delicious, but that was about it. When we arrived the place was dirty right from the entrance. Beach covered in red tide/seawood and unusable. Service was mediocre at best. There was a handful of employees who were fantastic but the rest of the staff were rude and dismissive. Drinks were weak - had maybe a half of shot per mixed drink. When i asked if they could make it stronger the bartender rolled her eyes at me. Multiple restaurants were closed and the ONLY option for lunch on our side was pizza which took 25 minutes to order. On our first day they served us the wrong pizza. When we returned it, we then watched them serve it to another table. Given that they couldnt keep the towel racks full “because of COVID”, this seemed quite unsanitary. COVID excuse was used often, although couldnt understand how it applied to many things including availability of their usual late night menu. We have been to other resorts for less than half the price where the entertainment, cleanliness, and service is was 10x better. Would not go back.
