"The moxy is very nice and the staff is great. The property has lots of nice amenities: hip outdoor pool with cabanas (for rent), a spacious gym, chic bar in the lobby, and a fancy rooftop restaurant and bar with beautiful views. But for travelers who’ve never stayed at a Moxy, just understand that the rooms are very European: the bathroom has a drain in the middle of the floor and water tends to just sit there, which can breed unhealthy microbes; the two queen beds face each other; there are no closets or drawers and thus nowhere to put your clothes save for a few hooks on the wall. These are more critiques of the style of the place, though, and otherwise it is a very nice hotel situated downtown and close to nearly everything."
