“Good experience at Tasmania”

“This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay.”

“This lovely clean home was a great base for exploring Mount Field National Park and also the Maydena Bike park is next door. Great as a family/ group stay. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. As a couple we just closed off the other 3 rooms and it felt cosy. Very warm with lots of heating options. ( Electric heaters in every room, air conditioner and log wood fire?) Great washer and dryer for cleaning muddy hiking gear. Lovely timber kitchen table. Friendly and helpful……

“Ideal location, neat & clean. Property owner very helpful responding quickly to my queries. Appreciated electric blankets & gas fire on a cool winter’s night. Old Hamilton Inn excellent for evening meal & breakfast. Picturesque town with plenty of history. Well worth the visit.”
