“This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.”

“Our host Kerry was wonderful! She was in communication with us the day prior to organise a really easy check in. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Nice and close to shops and only a couple of minutes drive to the beach. Perfect for a weekend getaway for 2 ☺️ Thanks so much! ”

“The property is very new, warm, comfortable and clean. It has everything you need. It was so nice to be able to bring our 2 well behaved dogs. Only thing is our smaller dog possibly could have escaped through a gap where the wooden gate is on the deck. We brought a crate with us and set it up along the gate/deck so it wasnt a problem. I was able to create some yummy meals in the fully equipped kitchen. A lovely place to stay for a winter getaway.”

“We loved our stay at this home in Waihi Beach and would definitely recommend it to others!! The views were unbeatable, and we really enjoyed the outdoor lounge areas. What a treat to be steps from a basically private beach! We were sad to leave and wish we stayed more than just the one night.”

“The property has a gorgeous view! It was quiet and stayed cool during the warm days. There are great wooded walking paths on the extensive property, offering opportunity to encounter quail as well as a surprise sighting of a pair of rosella. The property manager was very good, sending a welcome email when we arrived for our stay.”

“The view from all widows was spectacular, however there were issues with the kitchen area and bathroom. The main concern was that the drain from the shower was extremely slow so after every use the bathroom floor needed to be mopped up. The problem was exacerbated because the mop heads provided were not functional. One was the wrong size and the other was very dirty and the plastic screws to attach it to the mop were missing.Overall cleanliness in the kitchen was below expectations. The fridge……
