“I was so impressed by this property. First, it was exactly as pictured in fact, the pictures don't do it justice. It is comfy, clean, and adorable. Second, the property provided many of the items that you might forget. I had brought paper towels and toilet paper but there was plenty there and they even provided coffee!!!!! “Wonderful host, great old house to explore, like a museum with a Brit twist! Great wrap around porch. Teacups, plentiful tea and coffee in room. Our suite was like an antique store, so many items to appreciate. Very clean accommodations. Short, easy walk to downtown Waxahachie, great breakfast places. Sweet town.”

“Front staff was helpful and friendly. Great breakfast (could use sugar free syrup options). Clean property and a great location. I would definitely stay here again if we needed a place in this area again. Only criticisms: we had a family suite with a king and 2 queens. For a room that size, they only initially provided 2 towels and the king room had no storage for clothes or really anything in that room aside a bed, tv, and two nightstands. There was plenty of clothes storage in the 2 queen……

“Well we checked in early and the lady at the desk was extremely nice and friendly. I did not catch her name but she was awesome.”

“This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan……

“I stayed over a few days. My original room had a few issues but when i spoke to them about them, they promptly moved me to a different room. Bed was not the most comfortable to me. It wasnt bad, just could have been better for me personally.”

“This was an older Motel but it was very clean I did wish it had a coffee maker and a hair dryer but we did just fine without it would stay there again I was afraid having a lower floor would be noisy with people above me and cars coming in and out but it was very quiet except for the highway but that's not their fault it's built by the highway”
