"Ich wurde ein Tag vorher per Mail informiert, dass ich eine Kaution vor Ort bezahlen muss. Allerdings habe ich vor Ort keine Quittung darüber erhalten und im nachhinein wurde von der Agentur bestätigt, dass die Kaution über die Kreditkarte geblockt wird. Natürlich habe ich die Kaution die ich vor Ort bezahlt habe nicht mehr zurück bekommen und zwar mit der absurden Begründung, dass eine Person bei mir gesehen wurde. Diese Person war nur zu Gast da und hat dort natürlich auch nicht übernachtet....

"It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Livia’s Villa is, so I’ll offer this comment from a friend who arrived first: “It’s like stepping into a dream.” 15 of us traveled from the US and a few points in Amsterdam to celebrate my husband’s birthday. No one wanted to leave.The property is gorgeous, Livia is an exceptional host, the town and many amenities are close by, and Nonna Maria’s dinner on the first night was wonderful. We’d absolutely come back and are already planning our trip! "

"The pool is definitely the highlight for this property. Large pool with loungers and ability to access shade was great for relaxation. Showers and bathrooms beside the pool area were appreciated. "Very comfortable b&b with excellent breakfasts. Aldo is very charming and helpful and gave us many suggestions on how to get around on the bus as well as excellent restaurant recommendations. The renovations to the building are well executed with old stonework and wood beam ceilings integrated into all the modern commodities. The location is excellent, close to the port for ferries to the islands as well as easy access to buses for Erice."
