Very simple hassle free check in, friendly and helpful staff. The room had all the amenities I needed, a comfy bed, and cold AC. Great stay overall....oh and it was super close to my destination

I was in McAllen working and looking for a hotel near our job site. I have reviewed the reviews for this establishment. So I decided to stay at the Siesta Inn. I can honestly say that I am glad that I stayed here and when I return to McAllen, I will stay here again. Thank you

Amazing service. Excellent staff and property. Beautiful ambiance and outstanding facilities! Will return for sure! The beach is only a 3 min walk away! Loved it!

cheap is not always best

Stayed here for 3 days and then extended the room for another 2 days. Was told that we would have to put up a another security deposit. They also had a smoking room and did smoke cigars in the room. Was told that was not allowed and would not be able to stay.

Property was sketchy from the outside but room was recently renovated and very clean. Even had USB ports in the walls. Bed was comfy. One thing I DID NOT like was the rate I got from Expedia. On arrival the desk clerk didn’t know I had a reservation initially and said the room was $70 a night. I paid WAY MORE with Expedia a so called discount site.

Wasn’t at all comfortable. To be fair, I asked for a smoking room for my father. The front side of the hotel has a pool and that’s where all the picture are. The sheets had yellow stains. Weird dark color in the toilet. We could wait to get out.

The hair dryer was not working, no bathroom fan, the first day sheets were not cleaned had dust particles. The pillows were very small not enough towels we had to ask the housekeeper. The plastic cups were missing the second day so we had to get some from the office

Overall, it was okay. Thought it was gonna be worse. One thing I did not like at all it was the manager's behavior. He was very mean, loud, impolite. Extremely impolite. I know that indian guys are very loud, but I mean, as a manager he should have been more polite and nicer. It is their customer what keeps that hotel standing. I was not mistreated, but I witnessed how a lady was yelled out by him, and that was when I was getting my key. So, what a first impression, right? It was quiet and I love how modern rooms are, but it was dirty. It gave me some more like a Motel vibes than an actual Hotel. There were hairs all over the bed sheets, even hairs from private parts, that made it even worse and gross. Whats the big deal with not using clean and washed sheets? Of course I did not complain with the manager because I was afraid of being kicked out as he seemed extremely rude. I did not care much also since I was just there because we needed a room to get ready for a concert at the Payne Arena. But yeah, those little thing are still relevant to be pointed out. I would say that implementing better cleaning and getting a manager and staff change would perfectly bring this hotel to a whole new level. I would've loved it if it wasn't bc of those little thing I mentioned.
